I don't care what bad things Randy Travis has done in his life (& I'm sure there are plenty), he is one of the few genuinely great country singers to emerge in the last 50 years & I wish him & family well in their struggle to deal with his health problems.

I actually got to talk to the lady he's married to now when I worked for American Airlines. It was right after he had the heart infection and was recovering. They were both so sweet and great to talk to. He still could barely talk and I mostly talked to her.

Did not know all of this stuff happened to Randy Travis. I remember when he got cast in a few movies and he was actually a better actor than most people were back then or today.
I never knew he went through all of this as a child . Just think , if he had ... had a father that was more supportive back when he was growing up ... he might not would have had to go through all of that . It is always sad to see or hear of a child that has to go through awful things like that all because their parent's can't act right . I grew up with parents that weren't supportive , but I learned from my parent's mistakes . To look at Randy and to see his personality , you wouldn't think he had been through something like that as a child . From what I've seen , he's always been so soft spoken and a respectful person . God bless him and his wife . They have been through a lot . He's blessed to have a wife that loves him so much . She's been right by his side .
