I don't care what bad things Randy Travis has done in his life (& I'm sure there are plenty), he is one of the few genuinely great country singers to emerge in the last 50 years & I wish him & family well in their struggle to deal with his health problems.

He’s one of our families very favorite singers. We’d listen to his cd’s on our family trips from Maryland to Illinois. My daughter made up a dance to ‘Pray for the Fish’. He’s amazing and we just love him. God bless him - he just needs to be loved and encouraged. He’s got a lot of pain in him.

I never knew he went through all of this as a child . Just think , if he had ... had a father that was more supportive back when he was growing up ... he might not would have had to go through all of that . It is always sad to see or hear of a child that has to go through awful things like that all because their parent's can't act right . I grew up with parents that weren't supportive , but I learned from my parent's mistakes . To look at Randy and to see his personality , you wouldn't think he had been through something like that as a child . From what I've seen , he's always been so soft spoken and a respectful person . God bless him and his wife . They have been through a lot . He's blessed to have a wife that loves him so much . She's been right by his side .

Sarah - You may have dodged a bullet. Having kids can turn out to be a nightmare. Our 17 year old boy went from a brilliant, accomplished kid to a total loser - a lying, disrespectful, foul-mouthed, screen-addicted slug who was thrown out of private school, dropped out of public school and is barely hanging on in an alternative school. He grew up with two parents, lots of love and support, living in an upscale neighborhood and had every advantage including God's gift of good health and a 130 IQ. I cannot wait to be rid of him.

God sees his heart through it all
and sees picture as a whole.
If Travis doesn't give up neither will God. He loves us in spite of us. I've had total different experiences in life and Gods Grace has brought supernatural in my life, through it all and I pray God does for him also. 🙏

God bless you, I totally agree. If we don't give up, God doesn't give up. And with God as saviour he dont give us more than we can bear. Randy will bounce back.

Took my mom to see Randy along with opening act Shenandoah In Amarillo.1993 I think. My mom was suffering from lung cancer at the time ( probably due to inhaling years of my Dads second hand smoke) it was the last thing we ever did together as an outing. She died a short time later. It was a great performance and Randy has always been a favorite. He just couldn’t quite shake off the demon.

You have to consider there are millions of us who were abused as children and it does something to you ! some of us succeed with dealings later in life some of us still struggle here and there and make mistakes so I hope the people that watch this understand if you've never walked in their shoes don't be too harsh because we haven't walked in yours either !!! ✝️✝️✝️

Everetttango1 not discounting others beliefs is the first step to recovery as it happens Randy Travis is a Gospel singer and believer of Christ dissing and stifling someone’s beliefs is wrong

@@JLRO31 Because we have free will that the lord gave us we're sinners by default and we make mistakes that's why he created Grace which is sufficient for us not dissing anybody but why would you feel guilty for somebody else's actions it may make that group or set of people look bad that's because they make the same mistake they're no better no worse !😁
