As a person who picked both Kal'tsit and Suzuran through selector tickets, I personally enjoy Kal'tsit more (with the skin now too). Though it depends on a lot. @@evyru2191
Out of pocket pick, but I chose Blemishine. I'm new to Arknights but a friend who introduced me to the game showed me the ropes. Once I got some peeps going on my team, I figured I'd start trying to pull for 6 stars on banner. And the recent standard banner with Blemishine on it caught my eye. Her splash art seemed so bright and overall very appealing, and her tank / healer / sleep kit seemed even cooler still. So I tried pulling for her, but ended up with 2 Mlynars and I believe a Surtr. Queue the sad violin music.
I was sad I didn't manage to get her, but then I saw she was on this ticket. My friend is also a huge Goldenglow Stan, but also vouched for Eyjafyjalla (I can't spell her name still I'm sorry). Ultimately, after debating it for hours, I settled on HIKARI ARE and I couldn't be happier ^•^ ended up getting BlackNight shortly after ironically, and I already had Iris thanks to some of my starter pulls, so the sleep team was ready.
Honestly the six star selector pack is the thing people should get even if they profess to be f2p gods imho. You support the game in some small way by buying it. You get a ten pull. and you get a HUGE SELECTION of ops to pick from. No muss, no fuss, no rng, nothing.
This pack value getting higher since the poll will be wider with same price so yeah, best pack in anniv

Unless you are already overwhelmed with Ops to build, it is always the best option around.

As someone who has Mlynar. The only time I maximized his use was last H12-4 stage, in which case he carried my entire team to clutch victory. In almost any other scenario, he is either a lightning pole to distract enemy from my range unit so that I wont have to worry about range unit placement or I use him like ONCE, per entire fight.
But that is the thing. He is your oh crap button. Place him near your choke point, if you see the boss coming or elite enemy and you think your defense cant handle it, press the button, he go boom.
He's basically schwing schwing texalter. Unmovable but way stronger than texalter.
agreed. the best function of Mlynar for my team is not his damage. IT'S THE DAMN AGROO. He just stand there, menacingly, and my other squishy ranged unit is safe.
Yeah, I was struggling with CW-10 from Lone Trail, even with the Kyostinv guide, then I remembered to "just Mlynar it" and got it after one attempt
You've missed that it will be possible to make your own kernel banner and force operator you want into yellow cert shop. So using 6* selector on operators from kernel banner is quite wasteful.
Kernel only has old 6 stars, and unless you have the certs for it in advance, you're not gonna be able to fully take advantage of the banner. Besides, it's overall cheaper to buy a good 6* like mylnar than roll for him and pray to get lucky.

Goldenglow is unlikely to come to the shop until around September 2024, so I'll probably be getting her. The 6* that have already been in the shop are more likely to rotate in now that the banners have been split.
4:51 This is actually exciting because the recent announced standard banner makes it so that we got Pallas one standard banner early. I think we will be getting these new six stars on the shop earlier than predicted since the way new 6 stars are introduced in the gold cert shop has changed
I wouldn't put too much stock into the build-a-banner for Global, we have Suzu and Rosa in our Kernel banner, which CN doesn't have, so it is likely going to be slightly different from the rotation that CN has put out. And the value of the build-a-banner is it allows you to snipe an older 6* with your control, so you can get Nightingale, Eyja, Suzu, Bagpipe, etc. without worrying when they will be rotated into the banner.
Great video I'm thinking of starting to buy this pack once a year to get whichever unit I missed from the previous year and still really want probably going horn this time and reed alter next.
I should also add, mlynar if you don’t have him is a must have, I know you said you probably won’t use him that good but all you have to do is put him in a spot where he’s aimed at where a group of enemies will head and just prepare him ahead of time, that’s it, I could explain more if you want but he’s definitely worth having no matter what if you don’t mind throwing for it honestly, everyone I’ve met has not regretted ever getting him 😭
Hello, YoungRyo. Love your content and the amount of effort and passion you put into making each video both entertaining and informative at the same time! Just wanted to ask if you'd think it's a good idea to get the selector for Thorns, even though he's already in the yellow certificate shop cycle? He's the only operator in the selector that I'm interested in, but $29.99 is quite a sum of money, and I want to make sure that I have no regrets when making the purchase. Thank you again for all of the quality content you're putting out!

Honestly if you want him I recommend him, especially as one of my most used 6 stars ever. But from my info he doesn't seem to be coming to yellow certs any time soon so you should be alright!
Thorns in my opinion is a really excellent choice. There really is not a single stage I can think of that I *haven't* used him. His Talent is just good at eating away at enemy units, his S3 at M3 is just completely destructive, and the second time he uses it, he essentially is a buffed melee version of a Sniper operator with poison
Of course, keep in mind that there are just as many other good choices, and it's also best to see if there is a class that you feel like you need to fill in the gap for as well, but Thorns would definitely be a good choice since you can use him effectively everywhere and anywhere.

Goldenglow and Mlynar have both made my runs smooth and less stressful. I personally suggest those 2 as well!
I'm looking at Gnosis, Device, and Dorothy. I already have damage and tanking covered, so now I'd like some fun tech pieces for my lineup.
I chose gnosis last time and he is really fun and strong with his cold mechanics, especially in IS3, SSS and the upcoming stultifera navis rerun + he got his module (and skin rerun i think) this update
As much as I love Irene I agree. I got her outfit even though I know you can barely tell the difference. Her original uses the same color scheme. Hopefully she gets something more flashy and colorful in the future because she is a really fun unit to use.
I am going for Goldenglow because I already got mountain, mudrock and saga.
Originally torn between GG, Pozy and Surtr, while I already bought pizy skin I think I can wait till either joint operation for 2/4 chance getting new chara (pozy & penance) or buy another ticket another time. For Surtr, I rather borrow her than trying to spend material to whom I don't really have feelings

i'll pick Młynar for this one since i missed his 1st banner, other choice would be Suzuran but i'll try my luck on recruitment.
Probably the most worth pick is exwife, mylnar , surtr as top 3, flexible placing and deal bonker dps (almost cant go wrong with it)
torny and mountain for lane hold, torny have the favor since he can hit aerial unit, mudrock is good for hold but her class cost so much dp
eyja or GG ? really hard choice tbh,both really versatile, GG is easier to use with her range expand on all her skill but eyja damage + modul is no joke (also buff other caster)
i myself dunno if gonna buy it or not, probably getting horn/fiammeta
I did this before and picked Surtr and I had her l2d Summer skin beforehand too. She's been amazing and was my first M3. This one tho I'm not sure who to go with out of Mlynar, Mudrock, Pozy and Irene. GG is a good pick too.
I'm thinking of either selecting Kal'Tsit, Mlynar, or Surtr. But as you said, I'll just buy it then hold to see which operator will be available in future banners then I'll finally choose lol.
Kalsit true damage and medic side healing is probably also my go too
If ever I'm gonna buy this pack, I'll go for Surtr, hands down.
I did not get any surtr for a long long time my last chance is when she got a rerun with Phantom but got two phantoms instead and ran out of 50+ pulls. In conclusion I want surtr so I can "just surtr it" every stage. So I can use my own surtr in my support unit :)
Missing 6 ops from the selector, and if i do end up getting it, most likely between dorothy and mlynar, but leaning more towards dorothy cuz she dodged me 3 times (mlynar dodged me 2 times) in her banner and she seems fun
Dorothy is great fun! Her mines are great for all sorts of stall and crowd control strats, and work great in CC (or Pinchout. CC is coming back eventually though!) - plus she's the best ranged option for Muelsyse's water clones.
i missed out on this by not playing at the time, is there a known time when we will get another 6 star selector?
i only dont have 3 operators and I cant wait to pick up Fiammetta, especially the fact that she will get georgeous skin in future.
I hope HG sells selectors for 6 star limited operators too, the price is more expensive than regular 6star selectors?? I have no problem with that

Horn is good to go for newbie i think. New player relatively has very limited option on defense and one can use Horn's range to snipe down a troublesome enemy for your defender.
Don't worry about future content, she still good on high-end content.
I talk from my experience about having Silverash and Mlynar on my first month of playing Arknights. When i can trivialize a boss stage with their schwing, i still fail a lot of stage because my defensive line easily overwhelmed when their skill is on cooldown.
So i ask my self, how about starting with more consistent but have burst damage Ops? So if i have any chance, i will start my account with Exu and Horn.
Okay, I believed there'll be another one in late October, I want to get Dergenbercher (her Banner is somewhat in mid to end June). would she be there?
I’m seriously considering picking Dorothy. I’ve been borrowing her a lot for IS2/3 and combined with yato and texalt it makes for fun clears. Texalt and yato make most stages boring but I think specialists-only can make stages fun again. Otherwise, if I pick Mlynar I should just abandon yato and Texas. But then there is stainless, who looks really fun with executor2. Idk.
Dorothy is crazy fun, especially with her module and she did really well in Lone Trail. HOWEVER: Due to some unknown reason, AUTO DEPLOY is extremely inconsistent! Her mines seem to have some RNG element that simply isn't reproduced during Autodeploy so no two runs are exactly the same, which can lead to mission failures quite often.
Im going for Kal'tsit instead of Pozemka because Pozemka will be on an upcoming joint operations banner with Mlynar and Penance
I've been playing since 2020 and it's my first time getting Kal'tsit with this thing.
I bought it because I needed Kal'tsit.
Though I would have preferred to get Horn (one of my personal favourite characters) I went with the more immediately useful option (not to mention she had a new live2d skin in the shop). Also really need Thorns but I borrow both of these ops roughly equally and the live2d skin caused her to win out.
I wish they would add a limited operator ticket at some point though.
I just got it because I still needed goldenglow lmao (I’m saving my pulls for egg2 (executor alter)) so I’m not heccin pulling on the trap banners xD
i used up 280 roll waving so im gonna use 20 more and then start saving up again for the next 4.5th anni
In terms of who to pick it's is a difficult choice indeed. Remember that new players might not be able to raise a character as fast as veterans, so Młynar might not be as good as we know him, since his defining skill is S3. S2 can be useful too but not a gamechanger and he mostly stays offline and reads a newspaper.
So for newbies: Kal Tsit, Eyja, Bagpipe, Goldenglow, Mudrock, Moutnain, Horn and Pozy.
For veterans: the same + Młynar, Stainless (although you need some practice to make him OP), Surtr, Thorns, Passenger (but requires REAL high investment) and Fiametta
The rest are great but not worth spending that much on a selector unless you need them for a dream team, then go wild.
If I had to pick ONE for each group.
Newbies: Kal Tsit
Vets: Młynar
Those two will dominate. Młynar even off skill will still be a magnet for enemy fire that will save your squishy operators. Kal even on E0 has a freaking Monster on her command who is one of the best lane holders in the game, only growing ridiculously stronger with each elite level.
Hey can you help me out? Im confused between goldenglow and Kal Tsit. Just FYI im fairly new player with lvl60 account, I have mudrock, mountain, ines, exusia and yato alter(she is my only E2 char). Also I'm lacking good casters, the only good caster I have is suzuran and harmonie. Whom should i pick?
@@yashsurve9451 first off if there is anyone you think is really cool, fun, or just want id say get them you'll be less likely to regret it, however If you haven't chosen yet I'd probably go eyja, unless she's supposed to come to a shop soon. eyja's second skill is a strong aoe skill and her 3rd skill is still one of my favorite kill basically everything skills as such she can be both an aoe caster or boss killer. Kal Tsit is a solid/ok medic (she's very strong and useful just don't expect her to be a primary healer) she can summon a 3 block unit with a strong true damage skill at e2, great for boss killing and managing levels where you can't bring many operators. I don't know much about goldenglow but her kit seems fun and strong with a map-wide range boost (a rare ability) for skill 3 overall a very strong looking caster but not as versatile as eyja, I also don't think goldenglow will be available for awhile in any shop, unlike eyja who rotates through semi-regularly. hope this helped and great choice going for e2 on Yato alter she is one of my favorite units to play with.
I would go with golden glow. I currently do not have her but will probably not get the ticket this time around.
I was contemplating between Mlynar and Kaltsit. In the end, I picked waifu since her skin slaps and she get more use for me.
Flametta, passenger, irene, gnosis and pozy are the ones im thinking about. Anyone have a recommendation? Thinking about gnosis or passanger to fill their specific roles in my team
im split on either mizuki or aak. i don't think ill get aak from recruitment or kernel mainly because of low orundum and terrible luck so maybe saving certificates for mizuki and using the voucher on aak might be the sensible option.
aak will get busted module and turn him into good ST sniper, its fun

Going for passenger. I might be biased, but in my experience, unless ur in the endgame, the odds u dont have a good arts dps is very high. Im picking him over gg for personal reasons but i do think picking a good caster is the best choice since being actually good in this class is actually rare and quite hard to come by.
Thorns will finally be mine!, other option that actually really would get me going would be like Saria.
Same for me, I'm missing 2 of the really good OG operators.
I'm torn between Thorns and Surtr. (pun not intended).
I'm playing AK for 2 years and still missing fundamental Ops like Blaze, Thorns and Mountain. But considering recruitment and future banners it would be fine to get GG

For me it's either Gnosis or Stainless ... No clue who to pick 😅
New player, thinking about Horn or Mudrock in a combination between design and usefulness. Who would you suggest? Who is easier to get later?
A Horn banner is coming up with Ines and Stainless in a few months, and Ines is meta-defining vanguard operator as well, so you might want to try that.
However there's also a special banner with Mountain (meta laneholder), Saga (meme vanguard), Mudrock (meta Juggernaut Defender) and Goldenglow (meta core caster) which are ALL good operators.
As you're a new player, E2ing any 6* Operator may be extremely difficult. Mudrock is 100% usable at E1 with her S2, whereas Horn's defining skill is E2S3 (but her S1 and S2 are both good under different situations).
Mudrock makes annihilation runs SUPER smooth with her near-immortality and laneholding capability even at E1. She's basically a drop and forget AFK Defender in most cases.
The downside is that Mudrock costs a whopping 30something DP (E1/E2 increases the DP cost).
Horn has huge range, huge damage, the ability to survive being killed once, but doesn't do so well as an actual defender (slow attack speed, slightly less DEF than other defender archetypes). That said, I've been extremely reliant on Horn's ability to strike from half the map away but I also have a squad full of operators to fill the gaps and support Horn.
I would say Mudrock is the more dependable, general-use Defender that's easier to get off the ground. Horn is good, but you can easily live without her as her main role is artillery cannon, not defender.

Either way, it looks like I should keep saving for those two! Maybe I should have avoided the event banner.

Angelina has been avoiding me for 3 years, but she’s quite old meta wise. Sutr sounds fun. Passenger looks like a good choice, other than that I’m fine.
Thorns, Surtr, Pozëmka, and Młynar are absolute must haves.

I'm stuck between Mlynar and Kal'tsit. I really don't know who to pick. On one hand I love horses and I did plan to make a horse-only squad in the future (and I have NO Nearls. Only Whislash because she's free. Sad). On the other hand... it's Kal'tsit 😐
I'm debating between Thorns or Surtr. I think Thorns is more useful for general purpose runs and Annihilation, since Surtr feels far more niche.
Surtr is good to have since she's effectively a boss killer for sure, but you're definitely right that Thorns is a general purpose operator since he can be used anywhere without fail. Honestly either is a good choice, so it really comes down to if you need a heavy damage dealer like Surtr for tankier enemies/bosses or if you need someone like Thorns who can just continue to chip out damage and help hold the lane with some support.
I would say if youre a vet and a wide range of OPs you dont need the select anymore. But if you got money to burn go for it

Best way to use mlynar is with Gavial alter if you have her , Gavial S2 and mlynar S3 cover up each other cycle that it actually nice and easy to timing it.
For those who want to, you can buy multiple of this TYPE of ticket. I bought one last year, and I could still buy another now
Day 1 player only missing fiammetta, lee, dorothy, ebon and stainless from this list. Fiammeta for me 100%, I was pretty sad when I didn't get her on her banner

Rosmontis is a limited operator so will probably never be on one of those tickets.

Can I just trade my Magellan and Mizuki for Saria and Thorns? I would get way more mileage out of the old ops than these goobers. Also If they don't spook me I probably will buy the pack for one of these 2, it just hurts seeing guides for annihilation and not having either of them. Note: I have every new op after Flametail so I'm not missing out on much.
Probably won't buy the pack this time, I already have 95% of the six stars on it and of those I don't have only really Mlynar is stand out and I don't think he's stand out enough to spend $30 on.

The 6* Ticket is obv. a lot of value but I am kinda "meh" about it. Where is the gacha and or fun in it, if you can pick your unit.
Yikes that's a weird take man. I reaaally don't like that take man. Like "The fun of it"? It's gambling my dude. I never enjoy the process of gambling xD. The only reason I enjoy these gacha games is because of the gameplay, characters and story. Not because of sitting there hoping to god I don't lose all my pulls on a single banner xD.
Like obviously you're gonna feel AMAZING when you win the gamble but that's how it gets its claws in you. That's how it bankrupts some people xD
