Thanks for this video...got mine from ebay and they were very helpful and referred me to your video for installation and it worked like a charm. It looks like they included additional sealant on the one I received. I added even more just in case. My only issue was switching the positive and negative wire removal. After a week on my 2013 Jeep GC Overland with HID it looks great and well worth the change.
sure we can make! but we don't have US GC in China. so would please do me a favor? we need to know your orginal headlight wring detail with photos(which wiring for what function. like, what wiring for turning, what wiring for Hight beam and so on). and please kindly email me at: mark@wplamps.com
Are the DRL led's on by default? or do you need to have your marker/parking lights turned on? And also, do they turn off automatically when you activate the turn signal? Basically OEM style??
That's how it is supposed to be on any headlight wih integrated DRL. It shuts off when you signal a turn so other drivers see your flashing ambers more clearly and avoid accidents.
Holy shit those are clean... I just got 2016 high altitude rims for my Jeep GC 2012 and going to get the black vapor grill. These lights are gonna be fucking bad ass.
concerning the two wire connect you tapped into, mine has four. two black a yellow and a pink. which one do I tap into? I finally figured if out. good thing I'm good at electronics. I love the lights.
So do these come unsealed? That's both good and bad. If I get these, I'll take the cover off and put amber reflective film on the side marker. These are the next best thing besides changing the entire front clip on the 2011-2013. Thanks for the video. I'll be saving it for if and when I get these.
I don't think you need to put the amber reflective tape in, I don't think it is a requirement. The headlights come sealed but they are not sealed the best.
I did the exact same thing. The right side worked perfectly, but the left HiD low and high beam are not working :( not sure what is going on. Should I contact the company?
Hey man, Same problem with me. I have a 2012 JGC Overland Summit. A guy said that I need to check the polarity on all three wires on the driver side connector. then run an additional ground wire into that connector and or light wire. not really sure how to do it though I'm not an electrician. Send me a PM and we can discuss it more.
I am trying to install these lights in my 2016 Compass. The housings fit great, but I am stumped on the wiring as the factory connectors don’t fit the new lights. Do they make a converter for plug and play versus re-wiring?
I purchased them and just now installing, the problem i'm finding is that i had halogen lights before and the connectors are different. is there any way to make this work?
Hey, I've done all of the same steps you did.. I can get every light to work besides the LED DRL I've tried all settings too. What is the trick to get the DRL LED to turn on?
Never mind. My wire taps weren't clamped all the way down. I'm now having an issue with my HID bulb not powering on or my ballast working on the driver side. I think it may have something to do with the Low Beam connector. The win power side for the low beam only has two prongs and a 3rd prong that is broken off at the base of the receptor.
I bought these headlights for my 2014 Compass, but am unsure which wires I am needing to switch out on the harness because there are 3 instead of 2.... Also my turn signals are hyper flashing.
Looks awesome, I want to do the same. The ebay link in the description is for a Jeep Compass headlamp . Did you use a Compass headlamp to swap into the GC?
Based on the advise I added sealant around the all the edges and joints to be safe. Today was my first rain I expected them to be absolutely dry but I end up with both lights fogged up (which is an understantment). The inside is soaked more then I could ever imagine. I imagine this will destroy the inside of the lights. I feel ripped off, furious, and sick to my stomach that I spent so much money and time I dont have to end up with lights that do this. Is there a spot some where that could allow them to leak so bad? Please help asap.
Actually, it's just a tip to put a seal on them ... but you should not need to add anything to a new article ... you should write to the seller and make the claim to see what solution he gives you.
This is what I was told. "Hi, it will dry itself. this is the design of the headlight, beacuse of the HID is very heat. It will dry in several hours when you turn on your headlight or in few days. no need to worry about this, thanks" What a joke. I'm just going to take them off and see if I can find the leak and add more sealant to the whole thing.
I recommend that when you lower the headlights to put more sealant do it on a hot sunny day where there is no moisture in the environment to see if it works. That's what I did.
My first install was on a very hot sunny day. Prep work was done inside and installed in garage. I took lights off again 3 days ago and went to town using almost a whole tube of the Permatex Clear RTV Sealant. Went over all the previous areas, around every plug, wires, basically anything that went inside the housing. This time I also used it to adhere the rubber covers and even around the outside seam. Used extra to fill in/build up a few spots I noticed where water may hold and seep in. I let it cure for 24 hours before installing and car has been sitting in garage since and today will be first time out. Its very humid and hot with scattered rain for the next few days. If its able to fogs up even in the slightest way I will have absolutely no clue where or how it would even be possible. I'll update once I've driven through some decent rain and has set outside in the humidity.
Update... Had decent storms today. Didn't really drive much in the rain it mainly just set outside. When I got home I checked and they both still fogged up... I mean WTF! It wasn't near as bad this time as it only covered the turn signal and along the bottom, but it still makes the lights look like sh*t and makes it dangerous when people cant really see my turn signal. Could the moisture actually be getting through the connections? I'm 99.99% sure I have sealed everywhere else. At this point I really couldn't be any more disappointed in them.
Hi, friend. I have Jeep grand cherokee wk2 2012 and I have only 4 connectors, and at you is on video of 5 connectors. And on the white connector you at me have 2 wires them more. And therefore it is impossible to connect correctly. Forgive for my English (Google translate).
My friend have you had ANY kind of electrical issues with the wiring ? We are wanting to do the front head lights but “which hoping they have” smoke tinted head lights and then start researching for tail lights in the same fashion. Suggestions ?
Hi, I have a 2011 GC Overland and really would like to install these. My question is that the stock xenon hid headlights have an automatic leveling adjustment system, do these new lights have the same? Or is that feature just obsolete?
The new headlights have a automatic leveling motor but the connector and wiring on the motor is different then the factory. As of right now it is not possible to connect the leveling motor. Its not a huge problem. The headlights will just stay in a locked position.
Hill's Channel hey man i need ur help i got the same headlights and took it to the dealer ship and to another shop to get them installed and they keep sayen im missing wires so now im stuck with this headlights i cant install any recomandations
So I just purchased these and in my door well it says I have HID headlamps but after removing the lamps I don't have the daytime running light connector or really any similar ones he connects. Any guidance would be much appreciated.
i have my left side turn signal not working and i dont know why i didnt install but is there a way to figure out why the right side is perfect just the left everyithng else works
Hello Hill. I installed the lights exactly like you recommended. However, I have run into a glitch. It's been about a month since install and my left head light has worked fine and have had a problem. When I turn on the headlights, the LED turns off. When I turn on the indicator, the LED turns off. This problem happened when I first installed them and went away for about 2 weeks only to return last week Any idea what to be causing this issues? Please help
Hi! Love this video and trying to do this on my 2013 GC however, the link to the eBay lights are to a compass. Now I've heard the GC and compass headlight structure and fit are the same but I want to make sure before I purchase. If you used the compass headlights that are linked through eBay for your GC can you pleaseeee let me know?? Love the video, thanks a lot.
good job. i live in Ghana and i have grand cherokee jeep 2000 model. i want to install the LED just as you did. where can i get one and purchase online and get it shipped to Ghana for me, any help?
Hi, What kind or number of LED bulb u use? I just bought ones but they come with xenon and I would like to use same LED bulb as u used. DO you thnik is better light LED Vs Xenon? Thanks
I would use LED. The size is H7. Winpower also makes LED bulb. Here is there link www.amazon.com/RCP-Headlight-Aluminium-Waterproof-Adjustable/dp/B01LVXMSIA
Hi bro my name is bijou i have a 2012 grand Cherokee overland can i know from where you brought the grill how much cost for the girl can you please send me a link of purchases
Hi, You have mentioned link of compass, not grand cherokee.. iam having grand cherokee limited 2012 model. Will this fit for my car ?? Any size difference ?? Pls advice
Hill's Channel I recently checked the description for the eBay link but there is only a link to Amazon and the win power website. If you don't mind could you please give me the eBay link I would greatly appreciate it.😊
G Town yea, if you don't seal it then there is a chance they will fog. My headlights fogged on the first day after the install, but again that was because I used the wrong sealant and it didn't seal properly. If you buy these then sealing them is a must.

Oh, win power company here, thanks Hill to making this video, it's help people a lot! :)
Hi, Hill, we would like to send to Hill to review our LED bulb too, would you mind to email me? Email: mark@wplamps.com
Do you manufacture a model that has amber side markers that comply with US S.A.E regulations?
What's the status on the sealing issues? Any resolution to this problem?
Win Power, can you please make this available plug and play for a 11'-13' Grand Cherokee with halogen. Right now most need a custom harness. Thanks,
sure we can make! but we don't have US GC in China. so would please do me a favor? we need to know your orginal headlight wring detail with photos(which wiring for what function. like, what wiring for turning, what wiring for Hight beam and so on). and please kindly email me at: mark@wplamps.com
would be amazing if the DRL was a switch back turn signal
Are those headlights applicable to replace the original HID?
Are the DRL led's on by default? or do you need to have your marker/parking lights turned on? And also, do they turn off automatically when you activate the turn signal? Basically OEM style??
why is the light shutting off when the turn signal is switched?
That's how it is supposed to be on any headlight wih integrated DRL. It shuts off when you signal a turn so other drivers see your flashing ambers more clearly and avoid accidents.
How have these lights held up over time? Thanks.
Can you provide updated information as to where I can find these exact lights you have? Amazon, Ebay etc
I would like that info too
Protuninglab, they have em for 348$
I wish I could get your original headlights 😢
Can you do a walk around your jeep?
Yea sure I will try and post a video walking around it.
Holy shit those are clean... I just got 2016 high altitude rims for my Jeep GC 2012 and going to get the black vapor grill. These lights are gonna be fucking bad ass.

How did you figure it out??
I have a 2012 with HID. #1 - can i use my existing bulbs #2 - how bright are these during the day?
Hey bro it doesn't let me click on the link on where I can buy these headlights can you please send me the link
So disconnecting the auto adjust wont bring on any warning lights? It would just be like it didnt have them at all?
So do these come unsealed? That's both good and bad. If I get these, I'll take the cover off and put amber reflective film on the side marker. These are the next best thing besides changing the entire front clip on the 2011-2013.

can i reused my srt8 HIDs? or have to get new ones?
Still don't understand the second lense in the headlights since the HID headlight just needs one bulb that acts as high and low
the projector has a clear Lens?, I'm thinking to buy one looks great!!
Yes it is a clear lens
Helloooo i got a question. Where you buy the lights and how much
Love the new lights. I have 2012 and now want to switch mine out. Great video.
Do you actually have to do all these steps or are they just plug and play as well??
@ Hills Channel how are those headlights holding up? any issue's with them?
Loving the lights, still working great. no issues with fogging
Link to where the headlights were bought?
Great vid by the way, most informative.
Thank I did not know it was possible. I'm on it too. Want to change the tailgate and its lights also, any advice?
I have a 2011 grand jeep Cherokee with HID factory wil this fit the same way
How did it go? I have the same car just a year older overland model
I am trying to install these lights in my 2016 Compass. The housings fit great, but I am stumped on the wiring as the factory connectors don’t fit the new lights. Do they make a converter for plug and play versus re-wiring?
Do you know if the same steps apply for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 V8 (Non HID) Regular Halogen Bulb headlight? Looks great BTW.
Sorry I am not sure if it will work for none HID headlights. I think the connector may be different.
where can I find these lights at this vid is old and the links not working
Amazon
It didn't show how to remove the old headlight. :-(
I have 2012 factory hid/xenon that are shown in vid. What gauge wire is that to connect the new light??
Thank you soo much brotha. I have been wanting to get these swapped for soo long now.
no problem, thanks for watching
did your original headlights have the ballast ?
I purchased them and just now installing, the problem i'm finding is that i had halogen lights before and the connectors are different. is there any way to make this work?
Yoskel Lopez Same here, you figure it out?
Yoskel Lopez Yeah I have the same issue, did you manage to make it work?
I noticed on the new headlights they only have like three pins on connectors does it matter?
The Hid’s went out after 3 years?!? What’s a compatible replacement?!?
hey! are these headlights still working? any condensation inside or water leaking in?
Hey, I've done all of the same steps you did.. I can get every light to work besides the LED DRL I've tried all settings too. What is the trick to get the DRL LED to turn on?

Are these really bright like the originals?
The lights are really bright maybe even brighter then the originals.
Looks awesome, I want to do the same. The ebay link in the description is for a Jeep Compass headlamp . Did you use a Compass headlamp to swap into the GC?
I am wondering the same
This installation doesn't turn your engine light whit any error code or something?
No, there are no error code or engine lights. Works perfectly
Can the headlight beam be adjusted. Mine are pointing high left.
How is the light output with the projectors in those lights? I have heard hids are a better option than leds for that style projector
So these Lights only will work on a 2012 model and up Correct?? I wanna know before I purchase this 2012 Grand Cherokee lol
Is there any gaps or fitment issues with the lights or is it a perfect fit?
taharms1216 no gaps fits like factory
I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee summit and I am experiencing this problem where were would you recommend that I go and get it fixed at?

Where did you buy the headlights from?
Great video. How is the beam pattern spread? You are LHD but we are RHD here in Australia.
Sorry I am not 100% sure. The headlights can be adjusted left to right
Hi can you tell me what size bulbs I need for high beam and low beam? please let me know thank you!!
So the drls only work when the parking light is on or are they supposed to come on by themselves
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. They are always on as long as the car is on
My friend have you had ANY kind of electrical issues with the wiring ? We are wanting to do the front head lights but “which hoping they have” smoke tinted head lights and then start researching for tail lights in the same fashion. Suggestions ?
The manufacturer says it's for a compass, did you have any issues with fitment?
no the compass and GC headlights are the same size. so it fits perfectly
Hi, I have a 2011 GC Overland and really would like to install these. My question is that the stock xenon hid headlights have an automatic leveling adjustment system, do these new lights have the same? Or is that feature just obsolete?

@hills channel i dont have the big connection next to the big brown one and i dont have the 2 pin that u switch around whats up with that ?
What year Jeep do you have and was your lights stock halogen
it sounds like you have halogen lights, the connector are different

Javi M I didn't make them, just add some wires . It's easy
Hill's Channel hey man i need ur help i got the same headlights and took it to the dealer ship and to another shop to get them installed and they keep sayen im missing wires so now im stuck with this headlights i cant install any recomandations
What type of led bulb did you use
We're these plug and play or did you need a new harness? Also is it possible for a non oem hid to go with this upgrade?
So I just purchased these and in my door well it says I have HID headlamps but after removing the lamps I don't have the daytime running light connector or really any similar ones he connects. Any guidance would be much appreciated.
Can you send me an email @

i have my left side turn signal not working and i dont know why i didnt install but is there a way to figure out why the right side is perfect just the left everyithng else works
I have a 2012 Jeep GC Summit. Looking for the same type of head lights as shown in the video.
Please help
If you have stock auto leveling projectors I would not recommend changing to these . Especially with stock xenon bulbs aswell.
My email is stephnsandler@aol.com

So does jeep cherokee 11-13 fits jeep compass 11-13?
Hi,
You have mentioned link of compass, not grand cherokee.. iam having grand cherokee limited 2012 model. Will this fit for my car ?? Any size difference ?? Pls advice
So the eBay link states its for keep compass is that correct? So it fits for GC?
it fits GC with HID headlights, but I believe you can send the company a message and they have a version that will work for halogen headlights.
Compass and Grand Cherokee headlight assemblies are all the same 11-13, right? I want to do this in my 2011 Grand Cherokee.
Yes they are. Just make sure you have HID headlights
Oh damn, so this won't work for a halogen to LED conversion?
No, because the factory wiring is different
They will work you have to get a different harness made
I have a 2012 grand Cherokee I have tried to look for theses headlights and I can’t find them can you send me the link please
Kinda out of topic here but where did you get that grille from?
Thak you
i have a 13 grandcherokee no hids well they fit
Did you have any issues with the canbus?
How did you order them? Their website doesn't have any in the amazon store, the other webpage no longer works
enigma02g use the eBay link in the description
Hill's Channel I recently checked the description for the eBay link but there is only a link to Amazon and the win power website. If you don't mind could you please give me the eBay link I would greatly appreciate it.😊

MHF The Company i just emailed you! Thanks
Is it compatible with the 2011 grand Cherokee
I don't have HID headlights on my 2011 jeep grand Cherokee would the wind power led lights still work

Do you know where they are sils
Sorry for my english, can you help me to buy headlights? Where is the link? And can i have a information to install? Thanks Thanks Thanks
Andrea Portas I can help you out with the install, I also can give you 10% off the purchase of the headlights email me at iDriveSRTWK2@gmail.com
Would this fit a 2014 grand Cherokee?
Eric Pascual check out MHFAutoLighting.com
@Hill .. I’m thinking about purchasing these headlights. I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with HID. Will this work for me
What's did you use for sealant? Clear bathroom silicon caulk?
I used the wrong kind of sealant on my headlights, it didn't seal it well. But yes I would use a clear bathroom silicon, it should do the job
Hill's Channel Did your headlamp end up fogging up?
G Town yea, if you don't seal it then there is a chance they will fog. My headlights fogged on the first day after the install, but again that was because I used the wrong sealant and it didn't seal properly. If you buy these then sealing them is a must.
Hill's Channel Did win power end up sending you a new unit or are you stuck with fogged lights?
haven't purchased yet, but really considering to! although I'm not sure if they'd even work on my jeep GC 11 its from the U.S, you've probably already answered this question but what would you need if you don't mind answering in terms of wiring???
