- In this video I show how I fixed my friends Kawasaki Mule when it was overheating. My 3010 Mule had the same issue and I fixed it a couple months ago. This video we remove the head and the thermostat. Stay tuned the Part 2 of the video will be available soon.

Thank you sir.
Always a good practice to unbolt the head in the same pattern you torque to. Does it always matter??? ehhh probably not but still worth the effort.
It couldn't hurt doing it that way for sure. Thanks for watching!
Was this Mule running when you got it? I'm working on a 3010 that overheated, lost power, died, and now cranks but won't start. Missing radiator over flow :(.. coolant low and kinda nasty (no sign of oil). Oil is nice and black also full (no sign of water). Could It be the head gasket still? and lack of compression not letting it start? thanks
It was running but would overheat pretty quick. I hear the blown head gasket is a common issue with high hour mules. I would check the valves before I removed the head though.
@@JasonJonieBuilds okay! I'll do that next
@@JasonJonieBuilds Hey bud, I did the valves all at .008 and finally got filters, belt, new radiator overflow installed. I tried starting it with the radiator cap off and as I crank water wants to pulse out of the radiator. It still will not start but is making white smoke. I'm thinking the head gasket is leaking into the water port and it doesn't have enough compression to start? Does that sound right to you?
When will you show part 2
We have made the video but have not edited it yet. Hopefully later this week or next week. Thanks for watching Mike.
You can’t make us wait a whole week for Bronco build Monday, and...... not give it to us!
LOL.....sorry man It will be two weeks before another heart stopping episode lol.. We will be back don't give up on us.
Wo , I just typed a short version of wow, because I don't want your head to get to big and you can't fit through the garage door...lol Really though you know a lot about motors and mechanics. I hope your not working too hard. God Bless
Thanks Jack! No big head here I just try to share knowledge I have learned from years of wrenching. God has blessed me tremendously! Back to the Bronco in 2 weeks.
