I have a question about the Legalism answer. Legalism is defined in the dictionary as “Strict, literal, or excessive conformity to the law or to a religious or moral code”. From my time as a member of IOG, we do not appear to engage in legalism at all. Isn’t this moreso what Jesus spoke of the Pharisees doing? Like when they accused him of breaking the sabbath because he healed a man? That seems more like legalism (excessive adherence to a law) which IOG doesn’t do at all.

But in Proverbs 30: 4, at the end of the verse, it reads, "What is his name, and what is his sons name?" This is saying the father made it all. If I'm correct, shouldn't that verse say, "What is his father's name?" Because Jesus the son has ascended and descended, not the father.
