      @@bonny8427 I am sure I have come across this song somewhere, maybe on an episode of Outlander.. either way, you sing it so sweetly.
      Do you do requests? 😳 Lol, I am kidding.
      But.. If you did, would you consider Jenny of Oldstone?

    A facinating song. So very pleasant sounding, and good visuals to go with it, especially the yarn spinning👍😊

    Hi Bonny, I thought I would let you know first that spook, slayer of countless lives, expert on night magic, and video news muggie...has died and gone to Odin's hall, and I wanted you to know that as he lays in his resting place tonight, that this song was the last he has been played. It is very perfect😢

    • @bonny8427
      @bonny8427  2 роки тому +1

      My deepest sympathies to you both such sad news. He was undoubtedly the most majestic of moggys and his insight in magic was unparalleled. Regardless of clothes or fur a good friend is a magical thing indeed. It’s such a difficult time when paths go there separate ways. But the time we share with those we love is priceless.
      He was the greatest of felines and shall never be forgotten.
      thank you for playing my song to him Im glad I could be there in some small way for you all at such a difficult time.

      @@bonny8427 That's very kind Bonny,and very true, indeed he was a special cat. I wanted to let you know because you were one of the few to comment on his video and give him/me the idea of making his news program a reoccurring segment,sadly he didn't do anymore in time. He'll always be there if needed, no doubt that this has simply made him more powerful, 😞😌

      @@lukeandmum he was marvellous at what he did , though perhaps he would appreciate you carrying the torch in his stead? After all the value of wisdom was important to him. He may have left some inspiration for you to find, cats are like that. Come what may take the time you need, these times should be of thoughtfulness not haste as you said in your video.

    It's not 'thousands of years old' - a ridiculous statement.
    Earliest known reference to the song is 14th December 1624 when a ballad called 'Sir John Barleycorne' was registered with the London Stationer's Company.
    The original very long ballad was completely re-written in the 1700's - in effect creating a new song.
    As heard in the video.
