Gamera movies are simply amazing, i never thought i would like this big turtle so much but as soon as i started watching his first movie, i couldnt stop! They are so fun to watch, and Gamera is one badass turtle! I must admit that the Gamera movies are much better than a lot of Godzilla movies, i really hope to see a new Gamera movie soon Oh and the figure is amazing too, its one of my favorite....it looks so good beside my Godzilla's figures How great would it be to have a Godzilla vs Gamera movie sometimes in a near future!? Man that would give me one major nerdgasm!
22:16 thats actually not nightmare Gamera thats the normal Gamera 3 Gamera. Nightmare Gamera was the Gamera with the spiky head and white eyes that appears once in the beginning in a dream sequence and two more times in flashback/dream sequences, once towards the middle of the film and one more towards the end also looking at full body shots of the original suit it looks like the nightmare Gamera suit was a modified 1996 suit. Just thought I'd let you know other wise fantastic review!

this figure is pretty neat, I like the turtle/dragon look of it. I like that he has plenty of accessories and a pseudo transformation effect. overall, I like it. I see where your coming from on the chest piece, it does look weird, but it holds up well enough. I'm wondering if they took inspiration from Gamera's chest beam to make Gypsy Danger's Reactor Blast. maybe its a little Easter egg for Gamera fans to catch, but I don't know, either way Gamera did it first. :) thanks for the video!
Nice looking figure! I've decided to get this guy over the Shinigawa Kiryu, but do you think he'll look good displayed with the new Godzilla Earth? Gamera 1996 and the new Godzilla Earth both look good on their own so I'm sure I'll get both, but will they be good in one big display?
wow i can't wait togged this guy myself! have you found a way to light up the mana beam without wires hanging out the back? I would be concerned though that the light might warm up the plastic and warp the figure.
chucker173 I've tried one other thing but it was to big to fit inside of him. They make battery holders with watch batteries but I got one that was slightly to big. Probably next paycheck will order a smaller pack and try again.
