As an Aussie, this is the most Nick Cave track I’ve heard from an artist not called Nick Cave and I’m totally on board with it. Twisted, gloomy and dark yet beautiful
Just so Nick Cave recently. I'm not well schooled in his work. But it took about 3 songs and I literally fell into his world. Probably one of the best living performing artists going.
Only someone who's personally experienced a horrific incident that was the direct result of their addiction could have written this song. It's a sonic hand grenade.
This album came out of nowhere, and exactly when I most needed it, thanks IDLES for making me wanna keep trying. This is such a beatiful song, I love you guys with all my heart
@@elsupremeo lot has happened since this comment, and I'm doing better now. I even saw IDLES live a few months ago, amazing experience that I'll never forget. I'm still trying hard, and sometimes things get a bit better. Wish you well too, stranger!
As a crawler myself, this album speaks to me on so many levels. Being high, being cold, crashing a car. And the crawling your way out of it because no one will remember it but you. Finding solace in your nothingness. Beautiful album.
Last week my musician friend introduced me to you guys "In Basement" performance. The first thing I told him was: "I truly, honestly have no clue what type of music style is this, I and couldn't care less. holy fuck, this is so good, raw and contagious, bro. Thank you for suggesting me this band". And here I am, IDLES, thanking you all for this amazing experience. I promise to spread your art here in Brazil. Total Respect!
Btw FUCK the organization of the Lollapalooza Argentina (AllAccess fault) if they don't change the date of my ticket, because I REALLY NEED to see this live.
I thought I was listening to Angel by Massive Attack when it started. If you're going to steal, steal from the best. This song is incredible just started listening to these guys this week and I'm loving their work.
Last week a good friend of mine recommended IDLES to me. It was the basement thing. Since then I just cannot stop listening to this guys. All the world should listen to your songs. You are all amazing. Please come to Romania also. Everybody will love you there. All the luck in the world to yous!
I finally got round to getting CRAWLER today, this being the opening track is so powerful- reminded me tonally of their track June in how personal it is, the fact they put it as the first piece on the album I thought was super bold. Amazing storytelling, feels very heartfelt (the way the song builds up is also sooo good)
I have only recently found you guys. This genre is not my normal choice of music, yet you have me hook line and sinker. This song needs a Music Video. I can see it in my head when listening to it. Slow motion car crash, singing while being thrown around the car. Cuts open up, bruises appear, shit gets real. Lightning lighting up the interior. A clip where you purposely unclip your seatbelt near the end of the song. Ends with are you ready for the storm while being thrown out the front window.
I love this song… everything about it. I happen to think at the lyrics when driving at night even when listening to something else of just at the engine sound… The lyrics are so perfect but damn the vocals… they fit in a way that it’s hard to describe shit that’s a masterpiece guys 💪🏻
I was listening to 'i think i lost my headache' from the basement, then UA-cam started to play IDLES from the basement and the first play was this song. I have to thank the UA-cam algorithm because this is exactly what i like. This song's already one of my favorite of all time lol²
I was telling my friend how great this album is . He sent me back a photo of his 16 year old son in a brand new Idles T . Great advertising . The kid can play very well.
I first heard this in February. I was cold and I was high. uncanny as fuck. Bit of a spiritual experience for me though. It had been a long time since I heard music that made me feel as if it was made for me.
You guys are fucking AMAZING! I'm sad to be late to the party but I'm sure as hell glad I showed up at some point. I'm hooked. I can't make it to the show on the 27th so you need to come back to CA sometime soon! Sláinte Gentlemen
“MTT 420 RR” is taken from CRAWLER - out now on Partisan Records. Listen/purchase: IDLES.LNK.TO/CRAWLER
Done 💥👍
Love you guys 😌
posers!
It's definitely an experience feels like ❤

Are you ready for the storm?
Haven't had so much bizarre joy listening to a song about a traffic accident since The Normal's "Warm Leatherette". This is as epic!
The instrumentation on this song is so good. Great production.
I had a friend degloved in a car accident. He survived and they put the skin back on his head.
Beautiful work! You fans of Hot Chip?
This isn't a song, it's an experience. Probably my favourite IDLES song of all time.
I can’t decide which album opener is better, this or Colossus. Both are fantastic
@@veniceismine1 Colossus is a good opener, but this is an introduction to the album. There's a difference imo
Kill them with kindness+ GROUNDS
agreed
🤣🤣🤣
As an Aussie, this is the most Nick Cave track I’ve heard from an artist not called Nick Cave and I’m totally on board with it. Twisted, gloomy and dark yet beautiful
SO TRUE the first thing i thought!
Just so Nick Cave recently. I'm not well schooled in his work. But it took about 3 songs and I literally fell into his world.

@@chesterwig He is, he is... More people should be aware in what times we're livin in
That is on point
Hi! What Nick Cave song do you reccomend that has this kind of sound? Thanks!
That intro is so Massive Attack's "Angel". Love it! Keep it up IDLES!
for real, i was about to coment the same
Yes!
yessss omg i’m not the only one then!!
Man, this band found me right when i needed it most.
I searched "MTT 420 RR" looking for a video on the fastest motorcycle in the world.
Found this instead, not disappointed.
Same
Just heard the album this morning while on a walk. Incredible
Only someone who's personally experienced a horrific incident that was the direct result of their addiction could have written this song. It's a sonic hand grenade.

Yup, we're not alone. Keep well bud.
I love how they take stuff from other songs so they’re songs always have this weird familiarity. That opening sounds just like Massive Attack.
This song is the best especially live.
I hope to hear it live one day❤❤
this is real music
Beginning reminds me of Angel by Massive Attack. I love it.
thats because it is :D differente "tempos" but it is Angel by Massive Attack and it sounds amazing!!
Definitely a tribute to Massive Attack. They’re both huge bands.
Yeah 100% it is angel, Massive Attack, but as someone said, different tempo etc. Sounds awesome 😎
Good to see I'm not the only one who hears it
also the keys touching eachother sound i think it`s from voodoo in my blood also from Massive Attack with Young Fathers

This is one of the best opening tracks, seriously.
Like 5 Years level of good, for me.
Btw FUCK the organization of the Lollapalooza Argentina (AllAccess fault) if they don't change the date of my ticket, because I REALLY NEED to see this live.
Woah. The strobe light in my room, red and blue, match the beat of the song perfectly. Crazy. Yet another song of yours I love ❤💙
This song sends me into a trance, I absolutely love it!
Goosebumps. Amazing opener.
This is Idles becoming the best band since Radiohead
This band is like 5 of my favorite genres of music all smashed into one band and I don’t even know what to say about it other than “Fuck yea.”
I thought I was listening to Angel by Massive Attack when it started. If you're going to steal, steal from the best. This song is incredible just started listening to these guys this week and I'm loving their work.
Don't like the word 'steal'. It's not stolen, it's simply inspired.
Mtt 420 rr is the fastest bike in the world. Nice song.
I love how this song grows, goosebumping me so hard.
My favourite track like a pathway to a door then the album opens. love this
That opening bass is like Angel by Massive Attack - cool.
I knew I couldn't have been the only one to notice this.
Magnificent opening for this magnificent album 🤘💐🤘
Such a cathartic experience. I’m ready for the storm.
God damn i keep coming back to this song its so raw
Best ever
This band is truly a “once every generation” experience. Top to bottom -songwriting, innovative sound and truly a fkn bad ass loud punk band
Massive Attack and Soul Coughing inspiration here for sure.
Easily the best song
I really hope things go well for Idles and the music keeps coming.
I really needed this, best birthday gift possible, thanks IDLES !
If I ever get rich I will buy myself the MTT 420rr motorcycle and listen to this song while riding
❤
Massive attack meets trainspotting .. love this band..
Favourite song idles have ever released and I love most haha
Luv this song
Perfect intro for a techno set.

What a work of art. Congrats IDLES
A master piece of soundart
Sometimes this is so hard master piece, I can't even listen to...MASTER HARD PIECE OF ART...
Esta es una de mis canciones favoritas, ya deseo verlos en vivo en Gdl.
Brilliant!! My ears are just eating this up.
You..... Are my angel....

This.. live.. OMG!
I’m very new to IDLES and am already in love. This song…. wow 🙌🖤
It is February and this amazing song now has extra relevance.
Truly a spectable

Amazing song, gang. Fuck. The entire album just sounds amazing.
Probably their best opener yet. The beginning reminded me a lot of Angel by Massive Attack
I am so ready for you to storm into my life with your fantastic music
Wow, this song is very human, and relate this quite well. Thanks for the experience!

Love this song. Great!
Youuuu are my angeeeel
Brilliant!
Angel massive attack and Radiohead creep vibes love this
Euphoric masterpiece all the way through, big love guys ❤️
I just had a massive attack listening to this
The beginning electronic beat sounds just like a trip-hop song, Angel by Massive Attack to be exact. Great stuff.
My God
Was some of this used in Massive Attack's - Voodoo in my Blood. I can hear very similar elements
i wanted to see a motorcycle not a banger. I guess it’s a win-win. IDLES at it again.
Just found out a bout the motorcycle now. Beautiful sound my dude
Vibes
Beginning: Massive Attack - Angel vibes anyone?
I feel like theres a bangin second part to this song comin in the future
Here we Go again
I am ready for the storm
When Archive Portishead and Idles met, but i love it
