Brings me back memories from my old school I finally got a simplex horn strobe from the mantnece guys I wired it up but the strobe doesn’t work but the horn works great
These bring back memories. My old high school that was built in the late 1990s had these exact same alarms; 4903-9236s in the hallways, 4904s in the classrooms. They weren't that loud surprisingly. My K-8 charter school had National Time 411s and Spectralert Advances, and those were BEYOND loud. Within the next couple of years, they are getting an upgrade to their alarm system. Most likely the System Sensor L Series.
I love these Simplex 4903s. I will actually be attending college in the fall and some of the buildings at my new college have 4903s. The student union has electromechanical horn strobes like the 4903-9215/9217/9219 models (which I think will be louder than these). Another annoying thing is that they have those electromechanical horn strobes in the bathrooms which is just too much noise. The book store I think has electronic 4903s or possibly speaker strobes.
I really like the sound of those horns, very similar to the Wheelock EH devices! Since you mentioned Advances, maybe you’re signifying there’ll be something like that in the September test??
here we go the electronic horn strobes I just liked the speaker strobes one better which it talks and gives tones and voice evac messages in various languages in English spanish french etc.
My high school did as well. But as if they weren't noisy enough, they had a loud and obnoxious warble from the PA system on top of them! It really made me dread fire drills!
@@DanTDMJace But these are still not as loud as simplex 4051 and system sensor Spectrealert advance horn/horn strobes so that is something to indicate that simplex electronic alarms not loudest
Bros house is like a school, I love it ❤
Glad to hear
Great system test! Those 4903s sound gorgeous, and that CO alarm, too!

My school used to have 4903s nous we only have p2rs and p2wls
@@Theyluv_switchyThat sucks that the cool older Simplex got replaced with stupid System Sensor
Now this is pretty high quality
Reminds me of my high school which has those, and the mechanical horn versions too.
Very cool! 4903's are great alarms!
I really enjoy watching these, they’re so entertaining.
my middle school has these 4903's! theres also a wheelock AS that is EXTREMELY LOUD.
Keep up the excellent videos, awesome job.
How to get rid of hearing: step one get 4903 electro horns specificity . Step two put them on continuous and listen for 20 mind
Nice video and cool system test!
My school cafeteria has a 4903 with a Simplex 4100U or an 4100ES, either way it’s an multi tone primarily with a 4903.

Honesty, that is how a fire alarm should sound!

ooooooo everything looks good! pretty cagesssssss lmao
Hey, Can You Please Do A FireAlarm Test On The 4903 Mechanical Horn Strobes?!
here we go the electronic horn strobes I just liked the speaker strobes one better which it talks and gives tones and voice evac messages in various languages in English spanish french etc.
Wow
TrueAlert
Not quite. These are the predecessors
My high school has a bunch of these (on continuous) and truealerts (on code 3) and i had a fire drill the day I posted this comment

@@TrainLoverYT394 good observation
To me it’s loud
Extremely Loud!? In the video not even that loud!
IRL these are way loud. Putting your device on max volume gives you about the same volume as IRL.
