Hello guys. I have started a fundraiser. Help me stay in the US and get the O-1 Visa: gofund.me/rain.tent.loan This is my dream now. I can't wait to see you soon! ❤
awww welcome again sweeheart! you are so sweet and talented, may this gofundme campaign work quickly and flawlessly so we can start seeing you!! best of luck in this and all your endeavors Nadia! LUSM
Cool , so you will be here a while. Interesting times, a lovely story behind the Rockefeller Christmas tree this year, and wanted posters for CEOs in a city you could spend a lifetime in and still not see everything.
@nadiakodes I've known people who got stuck there their whole life. Once they got use to it, trying to get them over a bridge for a visit was like trying to get an agoraphobic to leave their house! Try not to get too stuck. A few years I'm sure would be more than enough. Every state capitol will seem small , many tiny by comparison after NYC. At the rate everything changes, you can never get familiar everything that's going on, from the different shops and storefronts to the courtyards that are in the middle of the blocks, and all the passages and rooms in between with the multitudes of people from all over the world. Yet many things still show evidence that date back from the founding of the city. It could take years to just learn one city block. Not many of my old haunts are still there. The Lower East side is pretty wild. As is parts of Queens and Brooklyn. After that it's not long before you get into the suburban wasteland of Long Island. Did you ever make it upstate? How about the parks that Pete used to work at? (I did community service there about the same time he was working there, but we never met) Edit, one of my old haunts was "Doc Holliday's" down on avenue A, it was back when they still served Bacardi 151 and the bartender would set the bar on fire to the song of Ring of fire and dance in it! If it's still there with the same owner, he must be in his 70s, by now (he won the bar on a pool bet in the 80s!) Regulations and enforcement have not been as permissive since the last three mayors so I doubt the place is still a wild party with flowing cocaine and fire and more. But if you find a wild place like that just outside the border let me know , I miss the adrenaline😜👍
@@petevenuti7355 New York is huge indeed but I am okay with big cities. Pretty used to them.. Yeah I visited Prospect Park. Loved it. Never made it upstate. Should I ?
@@petevenuti7355 Thank you for sharing your experience and stories. Found Doc Holliday’s on the map. Will try to see it with my own eyes and let you know my thoughts 😅🥳
@nadiakodes I'm sure my experience was just having the right people at the right time... But I'm sure a similar situation is there, somewhere around the area now, just haven't been there to know where. The pyramid club was up the block (show up naked get in for free) , a transvestite place around the corner, a hipster Cafe across the way etc , but none of those were my cup of tea. I can say I've done at least one shot at tequila in every place that had tequila in a 10 block radius of there, crashed private parties on rooftops. This was all over 30 years ago. Let me know when it's like now.
