Quick repair fixed my issue - THANKS! Outlook would not open at all. Following your instructions to run quick repair fix it for me.

Below are some of the methods you can try if you are facing problem using Outlook:
1. Close Outlook and 'end Outlook and all related tasks' from Task Manager
2. Remove Outlook add-ins
3. End -'Turn off' the Antivirus Program
4. Reduce the size of Outlook Data File by compacting, splitting or achieving your data
5. Check and update Outlook if required
6. Update MS Office programs and repair if required
7. Repair Outlook PST Data File through third party tool like 'Stellar repair for Outlook' if you have large PST file.

Nothing worked in my case from point nos. 1 to 7. A new profile even with a large ost file was the solution :)..
