So sorry you didn't like this gel, your hair looks good. I just received a travel size order of the Shine Gel and Shine Cream. I will try these out soon. My hair is thin so these small sizes will be eniugh Two weeks ago, 4C Chick did a thorough review of this entire line.. She gives her product recommendations for this line and other Curlsmith products to use in conjunction with them. You may find her information helpful. I hope you had better luck in using these products. You should probably use less product, I have used a number of Curlsmith gels and a little goes a long way with them. Good luck! 👍🏽😉❤
Hi May! Your comment prompted me to go find the video. She focused on the other products but she barely used the gel. And the gel wasn’t part of the products that she favorited either (which one can assume different thing). So it doesn’t really help in knowing how it worked on her hair. I would love to know how you feel though when you try the cream and gel. So please, come back and share your experience 🙏🏽
The price is high ( the products in Canada are in those ranges). Rarely we can find deal and curl smith products are only available online (online stores). It’s seem it was difficult to apply this gel. When they say strong hold I expect strong hold
Yeah, I had a hard time applying it and it took way too long. Thinking about it right now, this may be more suited for a sleek updo for someone with my hair texture. 🤔🤔🤔
Curlsmith to me is very similar to Pattern Beauty which is for lightweight and airy looking hair. None of the gels have a strong hold and you are better off buying a cheap gel for stronger hold. The Curlsmith leave ins Do Not mix well with the gels. I didn't get flakes but my hair was dull and had extreme product build up. Wash and go only lasted for 2 days. I do like them but won't repurchase because I found some dupes that work just well (aussie instant freeze gel and not your mothers curl talk cream). Thanks for the review
I purchased quite a few Curlsmith products during Black Friday but haven't had a chance to try them yet. This was not one of them (at least I don't think so, I have to go check my stash 😂). My products were in brown jars or cream tubes.
I had great results when my hair was dry but once I tried to refresh my hair felt so strange.. like almost tacky. But once dry it was beautiful! Idk what it is. ☹️
Glycerin is the SECOND ingredient after water. Glycerin does NOT work well in humid or dry climates, so how brands can claim frizz free curls in any weather with Glycerin listed so high on the list baffles me. Humectants equals frizz!!

Your hair looked good from this end but yeah that seems like a hard no for us type 4s.
