I just found your channel and am looking forward to watching your rides; I live mid Vancouver Island, and haven't ridden for 23 years. I just got a crf300, and am going to explore the routes on Van Isle.
Thanks for watching!!! Great bike to get back at it! Those roads are perfect to get back into riding again too. Be careful of traffic, I found people driving pretty darn fast for gravel roads. Have fun and ride safe!!! Cheers!
lol hey sorry @westshoremx6366!!!! I usually ride most spring into July, then never in August, with riding in September/oct. I film all of this time collecting material to release throughout the winter. I usually get the gears from fans…lol rightly so as most UA-camrs publish on a weekly basis. Anyway, I appreciate you watching my content and I just finished transferring all my data from the year onto my drives…so that means I’ll be getting back at it in a few days!!! This year: ORBDR, IDBDR, Chilcotin, new bike, and local rides!!!! Cheers!!
Hey Critter!! As always there is a little bit of a story to it. My son and I race/ride MX and the Wednesday's practice before I was to leave my son cross rutted and broke his collar bone. I wanted to wait and make sure he was ok and settled before leaving...hence 7 days turned into 4. I'm hoping to come again, perhaps next year, may you could tour me? Cheers!
Yes, Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo would have been best. The other thing is that motorcycles and pedestrians have priority. They go to the head of the line and dont need reservations. You can bypass all of the cars. BC Ferries is cronically late these days for a number of reasons. FYI
Thanks for watching! Hey sorry for delay away on vacay. It’s too bad the ferry system is such a pain. I’d like to go back but the cost and time associated with the ferries I might as well just go south and do California bdr or something. Cheers!

Very entertaining Floyd, going to be a great series, thanks for sharing this.
Thanks Ian!!
It’s unfortunate that you had tight time constraints. Good on ya for making a go of it tho. Looking forward to the rest of the adventure. Cheers!
