- This mantra has been deeply embedded in my subconscious since childhood. In our monastery there were some Chöd practitioners, so I kept hearing this wonderful melody accompanied by the blowing of human bones and the sound of big drums.
The Chöd practice is one of the eight major lineages of transmission in Tibetan Buddhism based on the wisdom teachings (skt. prajnaparamita) of the Buddha. The practice was founded by Machig Labdron, who lived from 1055-1154.
Chöd practice and Machig Labdron represent for me the feminine nature of enlightenment state and energy.
When I was practicing Chöd in Tibet together with my teacher Repa Tsultrim Tharchin, I decided to chant this mantra, which is not only related to Machig Labdron's Chöd practice, but is also the general mantra of all Dakinis.
ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བྂ་གུ་རུ་ཧ་རི་ནི་ས་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ།
OM A HUNG BAM GURU HA RI NI SA SIDDHI HUNG
By chanting the mantra of the Five Dakinis, we stimulate within ourselves the deep wisdom and inspiration embodied by all Dakinis.
Dakinis (Tib. khan dro ma; Engl. sky-walkers) are holders of female wisdom and protect the teachers and teachings. The name “sky-walker” expresses the fact that they always move on the highest level of reality. Their nakedness symbolises knowledge of the unveiled truth.

Machig Labdron
The fearless and innovative 11th century practitioner Machig Labdron was one of Tibet's most renowned female saints and teachers. She is considered to be the incarnation of Yeshe Tsogyal, the Tibetan consort of Guru Padmasambhava. Machig Labdrön was born into a noble family and was recognized as a wisdom dakini at a young age.
In early age she became a nun and practiced the Buddhist teachings very intensively to help many living beings. One of her most important teachers was the Indian master Padampa Sanggye, who founded the Zhije (zhi byed) tradition, which is focused on the pacification of suffering. From him she received pith instructions which are known as the 5 slogans of Machig Labdron
1. Confess your hidden faults
2. Approach what you find repulsive
3. Help those you think you cannot help
4. Let go of everything you are attached to
5. Go to the places that scare you
After an encounter with the wandering Indian yogi Topa Bhadra, she became his consort at the age of 23. Topa Bhadra supported her in all of her spiritual practices and activities. They had several children who also became her disciples and lineage holders of the Chöd practice, which was founded by Machig Labdrön.
Chöd means "to cut through," which refers to the elimination of all negativity, especially ego attachment. This practice is used in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism to a greater or lesser degree.
Machig Labdron, whose name means "the one mother, light of Lab (in central Tibet)," died at the age of 99 and entered the pure land of the Dakinis.

That is my wish after hearing the drums, as Summa Sambodhi In all 10 directions of the universe. I heard your bells in the wind and will come once more to my birthplace, and sit again under the tree or any other one. Will Visit Tibeth, and I proceed to the Lumbini, to teach Abydarma to all who are willing to hear. Thank you.
So cool to hear Drukmo Gyal Dakini singing with Rinpoche! I was already a fan of her music, and now am a fan of Chogyal Rinpoche's singing too! What a wonderful duet.

Once this illusory body was suffering from fever , it was hardly trying to maintain the Heart Sutra Teaching.
When it got tired of contemplating , suddenly tuned this wonderful mantra and sat down, pretending as this illusory I was chanting herself and playing instruments too.
Felt relief by doing so🙏🌈💐🤗
This gave me a sudden and unexpected relief from the bagagge of repressed emotions inside...and a feeling of unexpected love flowing through the syllabes of the mantra

I share yoga with students every day and would love to learn more for over 15 years. I Work with doshas from ayurveda prakriti vikrit, directing yoga to make the 5 elements concious within us, with the 5 elements from chinese medicine by learning also acupressure I love adding mantra and the vibrational field... and know my path is to transmit and learn about the teachings of the 5 elements and know the 5 wisdom dakinis have a part in my learning.
