I love how Anberlin puts a slight electronic twist to their rock music. One of my favorite Christian rock bands!

Cities was Anberlin's masterpiece, unmatched by all their other amazing albums (and they were ALL awesome)...but Vital...it just may end up right there next to Cities. Super excited.

Cities is not only the best anberlin album, but it is probably one of the best albums of the last decade...
There's a reason why no matter what anberlin puts out, it wont beat cities, or songs like paperthin hymn. That's because, people who love those songs, have loved them since years ago when they came out.
Those songs meant so much that they've become icons, or symbols of those reminiscent memories, they become more than songs.
So while this Vital release may prove to be a very good album, people will still feel something missing.
Anyone else notice this video doesn't have an ad beforehand? So they aren't making money off of us watching this video? Extremely admirable. For that reason alone, I am going to go out of my way to purchase this album instead of just downloading it.
Anberlin's best album to date is Dark is the Way, Light is a Place. Every album keeps getting better and Vital is going to be even better
That's what I was thinking. Anberlin will always have something about them that's immediately recognizable. Proud to be a fan of a band who truly has their own sound.

Vital is basically Cities colliding with New Surrender and throwing in the pace of Never Take Friendship Personal. In short, brilliant.

I love how much Anberlin changes with every album without ever seeming inconsistent. If you listen to Blueprints all the way through, you'll hear an amazing and brilliant progression of music. These guys set the standard for musical evolution. The diverse opinions on which of their albums are the best proves this point excellently (I happen to be a huge fan of Cities, but every one of their other albums is a close second in my mind).
Anberlin's old stuff is really awesome...

Anberlin has been my favorite band for quite some time. My reaction upon hearing this new track is: Mind is absolutely blown; nothing else to say. This song is already becoming another "Feel Good Drag" and "Godspeed" for me. Brings out those feelings and emotions like the old Anberlin I've grown addicted to. Perfection.

I'd like to say that while Cities has songs that require different moods to enjoy completely (every album does), all of them satisfy that mood completely. Also, I love how aside from atomicfriendo everyone on here doesn't get mad about different opinions in music, and we all can agree, ANBERLIN ROCKS!!

I agree. As a long-running (~8-9 year) diehard Anberlin fan, I definitely like this more than Dark is the Way. I feel differently about Blueprints.. I felt like they were still figuring out wtf they were doing back then. NTFP was outright gold, though, and New Surrender was, in my opinion, their attempt to remake NTFP in a more 'mainstream' fashion to get more recognition (and it worked! cough feel good drag). Overall, I'm glad they're moving back to that kind of stuff now.
Anberlin has allways been a big part of my life from the day I first heard em'. One of the best band in the world imho. Thanks for making my moments when im listing to ya a little brighter in these dark days.

I got the first in January when I discovered them and the second the day it came out. Copeland also helps a bit. The lead singer produced A&B's first album and can be heard in the Anberlin song Inevitable.

Vital is simply beyond amazing.. it's a glorious piece of art I mean, don't try and compare it with previous stuff.. is not even worth it. This album will change your life or at least your concept of modern music.
