I think that's a bit part of Rhett's appeal. He reminds me of what young men used to be like.
And he's probably a honkin' tenor to boot! We need the MORR Christmas Album! Even if it's tongue-in-cheek. But for some reason . . . I would expect it to be impressive just as most other things this awesome little group puts their minds to.

Am I the only one who kept telling the screen, "Ratchet strap the two front tires together to pull them straight"? I claim no advanced knowledge of vehicle recovery, I learned that from watching Rudy do it on one of his builds. The ingenuity, perseverance, and use of available resources that both Jaymie and Rhett showed on this recovery was truly awesome to watch. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Great way to apply what you've learned from your father. Jaymie, you rock and crawl. Think about a 7 wire plug for all your trailers to keep the batteries charged. I've been watching for years and enjoy every video.

I wonder if pulling it backward onto the trailer would have been easier? Good job, constantly reevaluating is how it's done!

@@jeremyhanna3852 yeah I was thinking tie rod too. Try and bend it back somewhere near straight and if it snaps you're still better off without it lol. Of course always easy to armchair quarterback these things after the fact. If they had done that there would be plenty of people saying just drag it on lol.

Nobody learns anything or builds any character from an endless series of simple tasks or recoveries. I think Rhett achieved his manhood from this recovery, and Jaymie is well, how to say it, moving to the top of the stack in terms of her value to this enterprise. As an aside, it also seems like Buddy the Elf is coming along nicely. He will be a happier and vastly improved animal when his owner gets him back from you. Wonderful video!!

Agree 100% - on the first day in the shop; afraid of the noises, shaking and very uncomfortable to now, looking like a happy dog. Just a dog being a dog. Exactly what you want to see.

Been watching for years… seeing Rudy do it and now Rhett, just shows the knowledge and challenge you have put on your boys learn the ropes. Jamie is a rockstar of support, and could probably do a lot on her own. It’s just a great thing to see. One day I would love to come out and see it in real life!
