- We flew to Mexico during Covid-19 and discovered the world of cenotes, and we finally got to scuba dive in them! The Yucatan Peninsula is believed to be home of the longest underwater river system in the world. Diving through these mysterious caverns in Tulum near Mayan ruins was an unbelievable experience! There are over 6,000 cenotes that have been discovered in Mexico, but we are exploring one near the coast of the Atlantic ocean called Casa Cenote.

The Cenotes in Tulum, Riviera Maya, have been some of Mexico's most famous travel destinations for years. We were so excited to go scuba diving in one of the best caves near Cancun.
These dark caves stretch on for hundreds of miles. They have been completely submerged in water for thousands and thousands of years. And that to navigate these caves, you’ve gotta scuba dive into it with flashlights.
I keep hearing about how great they are, so let's go cave diving into these mythical bodies of water.
