I have a very vivid memory of watching My father SAVE my diabetic grandfathers foot with Epson salts and Alcohol back in the mid 1950's! Grandpa, age 82, had gotten a bad case of gangrene in one of his feet. The doctors cut his foot and leg off right above his knee. The other foot eventually became even more infected with gangrene, which is a result of diabetic infection. Grandpa lived with us and he said to my dad, "Robert, I'm not going to my grave in pieces so we either figure out a way to heal it at home or I will just die with it." My dad, a brilliant man, realized he had to figure a way to get the circulation going and get rid of the poison in Grandpas affected foot. He decided to soak it daily in hot Epson salts to get the circulation going and draw out the poison of the gangrene, then rub it down with alcohol after the soaking to further address the gangrene. Dad discussed this with our veterinarian neighbor, and Dr. Teague said, "sounds good to me, go for it!" Within several weeks the gangrene was almost completely gone. With in a month or so grandpas foot was TOTALLY healed! Grandpa went on to live to age 87 and NEVER had another flare up of the gangrene! There are soo many ways to heal the body naturally that it makes me sick the way humans are continually treated by "cutting" things off or given toxic "chemicals" which God never intended to be put into our bodies! There is almost always a way to heal everything naturally without drugs and chemicals. They usually just mask the problem and eventually it comes back with a vengeance! Eat healthy, most disease is brought on by eating unhealthy processed foods full of chemicals which are carcinogenic to the body. Also, eat lots organic produce. Most produce has been genetically altered (GMO) to the point that most of the nutrition is depleted and then sprayed with poisonous pesticides which are carcinogenic/poisonous to the body. Eat healthy fresh food, Not fast foods or processed foods full of sugar and chemicals. Eat only small amounts of non hormone, non antibiotic meat and watch yourself get rid of extra pounds, and ailments brought on by an unhealthy lifestyle. BTW, I have studied Nutrition and Cancer intensely for over 6 years and as a result, I've been able to help my husband and several friends find complete healing "Holistically" from Cancer! Good luck and God Bless! 😊

So I literally soaked my feet two days ago due to having plantar fasciitis in right foot. I was doing foot stretches, using massage balls and a foot massager, and taking muscle relaxers and pain meds. Although those things felt good in the moment, they didnt get rid of the problem. So I decided to soak my feet in warm epsom salt water with lavender oil for about an hour. The pain went down significantly. So I'm thinking if i do this maybe once a week, the pain will be gone completely. Sometimes those old school remedies are just the answer.

A better experiment to test the effectiveness of the E-salts is to get two small pails. For one week, soak one foot in plain warm wather and the other in warm water with E-salts. Is there any difference. If so, the next week, switch feet and see if the beneficial effect changes to the other foot. If anyone does this, I would be interested in the results.

Last week I watched a video about epson salt and thought it would be great to do a footbath. Off I went with very hot water and because I didn't know how much to use I put in my guess is about a cup. Soaked for 30 min. What I can say is I had not noticed that my feet were swollen until my friend noticed it. I didn't think much of it until the swelling completely disappeared. Obviously according to the dr. I poured way too much but the swelling was completely gone. I've done it 3 times since and rubbed my feet for about 10 min with castor oil. My feet have never been so soft and good. So, I don't know. Maybe this was good, maybe not but the results were great.

I love it after hard workouts. A lot of them are infused with aromatherapy scents. I wonder if that aids in the perceived effectiveness?

Great video. I have very sore feet lately. My foot doctor doesn’t have an answer other than custom inserts which don’t help

My dad uses this in his baths. Just 100mg as the package directs and not... a whole package as I see some people do on YT. He has a bad back and it eases the muscles somewhat, but more is not better!
