As a Reflexologist, this video was very helpful. I suggest espom salt soaks for tired feet to my clients. I will pass this information to all my clients.
I really appreciate you explaining the finer points of using Epsom Salts for the healthful reasons you duscuss in this video. You have an incredibly calm voice and it is relaxing . Thank you again sir.
Most people I know use Epsom salts to soak our horse's feet when any foot is warm to touch and shows bruising. More than likely there's an abscess brewing and the Epsom salts helps to draw out infections.
I have just discovered your channel and am interested to see more, but just now I got grossed out with miniatures of other videos on your channel. I was not prepared for what I saw there, but I hope to gather courage and come back soon. Your channel has big value, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
This information is very helpful with the exception of the amount of water. You said a bottle, what size? Moving your hands in a circle is not a measurement.
I have tried a few Epsom salt products which help in muscle recovery, but after a friend's recommendation, I have found my favorite - Elemnt Sports Science Epsom salt is now my go-to for relaxing and easing muscle pain
One bottle of water as a measurement? What size bottle? 8oz? 12oz?, 16oz? (Maybe using a measuring cup would be a better way. Like 1 tablespoon of Epson Salt to 1 or 1.5 cups as an example.)
The basin you can get for Walmart (Homedics) is around a gallon up to the maximum line. I have that cheap Homedics basin and my formula is 1 cup of Epsom salt and 30 drops of tea tree oil. I used this basin and formula to cure a case of pitted keratolysis that I had for the prior 10 years, which was highly stanky. You can do foot baths for softness for beauty, whatever, I'm doing it for cleanliness. If you have stinky feet, you need to foot bathe!
Like a hot tube, set to 100 degrees F, when turn turned up to 102 degrees F, it feels extra hot and uncomfortable. Remember, 98.6 degrees F is normal body temp and high temperatures will always flow from an area of high energy to areas of low temperature. So, it heats the feet & body first for a long time, as the water is a good conductor and cools to the air around it, even if A/C or Heat is set to 78-68 degrees F. It enters the feet first, opens the blood vessels that allows warmer than normal blood to flow up into the torso. It cools the the air around it but that takes time depending on the temp, volume and external air temp contact on how fast it cools. 100 degrees F is best overall contact. As it cools over ten - 15 minutes, it begins to feel to cold. That is your sign it is time to stop. Don't forget to start without a towel to step on. Tile is slick when wet, so avoid accidents. Use a nylon scuff pad to clean heels and feet from dead skin cells. You shed 100,000 cells per hour. This is how blood hounds track people even in a slight breeze. Otherwise they are funneled down onto our feet and gather. This is the loose crusty stuff found on you feet. A gentle rubbing will get rid of them. DK, ASE master tech since 78, retired.

Great video Dr Kim. New sub from Australia. Got your video recommended when I was watching "DC FOOT DOCTOR" KEVIN. BOTH great Drs. Thank you for your valuable advice 🙏🏻
I went out with a friend, who told me that my arms was swollen at first I thought it was fat, but as time went on I realized that the swollen face wasnt the only symptoms I saw. The ankles feet and legs got swollen. But with the help of Dr Iyhere everyth
So one question Dr Kim....after soaking and towel drying the feet, is it good or beneficial rubbing the feet with petroleum jelly and putting on socks overnight to enhance softbess for your feet? Please advise and ty.
Hi there. I’m not a doctor but i have experience with this. That’s a great idea. Getting rid of the dead skin and then adding jelly, then sock works great.
i appreciate the info, however i think its good to include that these water massagers on the market are not like the ones at the store, the epsom salts will usually mess them up
How does one become a Holistic Podiatrist, I would like more information on this. I am aware of the steps to podiatry, but is there a pathway to Holistic Podiatry or is it a combination of Disciplines?

This was perfect, I think I was having more dryness and swelling in my body from taking salt baths and dumping a lot in 😅 could’ve been other things though

How to use epsum salt in case of piles...?? Should it be added to too hot water n steam should be taken.? Or it should be added to warm water n sitz bath is effective??
Excess magnesium is the blood of a diabetic that can often have kidney damage could be serious! More dilute epsom salts would be prefered over concentrated soaks!
Warning: As a Type 2 with restricted circulation in your feet (?) and any open cuts or bruises. Oils will kill connective tissue and this can lead to infection, dry gangrene, gangrene and amputations.
Mixing baking soda with Epson salts , plus detol. Tea spoon , tumeric Make sure you wash feet off after you finish very important Watch the colour of the Epson salt change
i Dr. Kim. I have Edema and flooded feet. warm foot bath has been recommended. I did find it helps the edena mush, is there something I can do to attack the edema problem? I was using too hot water after listening to you.
Reduce your sodium consumption to no more than 1500 MG day and don't overdo fluids. Especially if you drink sodas or energy drinks. Check the sodium on those.

Hey everyone, just guess on the water. A few ounces isn't going to make much difference.
Thanks so much. This was so helpful! Very detailed and explained!
We use 2:1 cups in bath tub epson salt : baking soda. Promotes . Heals bug bites , muscle inflammation.
Hell yea!😂
I need to remember the baking soda!
Excellent video. Should I wash my feet directly afterwards?

Put enough water to reach your ankles (different amount for different foot sizes and then add half a cup of the salts.
Yes, he was vague about the amount of water.
Exactly my question.
I’m assuming he meant a bottle of water that’s in a 24 pack which is 16.9 ounce
Might be 1/2 cup to one gallon. 1 gallon in a foot tub would m9st likely reach your ankles.
There are several sizes of bottled water, could you tell us how many fl oz of water per tablespoon of Epson salts please
I aas asking the same, on can take a galon and one 1/2 a liter.....
It is also important to show for other world parts measure systems amounts...

2 table spoon of epsom salt for 1 litre of water
Are we talking a 20 oz., liter, or a gallon bottle?
Or does one tablespoon fit all sizes?
Oh so much thank you to Dr Kim .
So much smart of helping not wisdom.
Could you please clarify the bottle size in which one tablespoon of Epsom salt should be added? Are you asking if it should be ½ litre or one litre?
That is my question toօ
What size of water bottle (for measuring)??
Thanks Dr. I appreciate your great videos☺

1 table spoon = 1 bottled of water ( 250ml / 500ml / 1.5l ) ?
