I only ever bought the first Diabattles figure, which honestly to this day still is the one I'd want the most, but price for what you got never seemed worth it to me. Personally, I feel like Takara priced it high because it wasn't going to be a huge line for them financially, and the dedicated fanbase was in on it no matter what. I'd love to get the giant Mechagodzilla looking piece, but $300 youch! I did end up with a couple of smaller Mechfanstoys versions of the one you featured here and they're fine.
Any of the Big Powered sets (normal, Destroyer, IMS) are the best bang for the buck. If you get a battle buffalo, any of the powered suits can become its head.
This is a neat figure. My first diaclone is this figure. Course he's the white color though. Hope you can do more reviews. Hard to find good reviews of these.
Ok, you said that this was trying to emulate The Gundam Micro Wars figures. Actually it is the other way around, this line started in 2016 while the Gundam Micro wars line came out in 2018 or maybe 2019. Takara and Bandai have been in competition with each other for years. When this line came out it made everyone else up their game including Bandai’s Gundam Micro Wars line.
