I'm sending a letter to my dad in prison and they aren't allowed to receive images or colored ink or fun cards so folding my letter into this heart was such an easy way to fancy things up. This was a really, really well narrated video. I've never done anything like this in my life (I can't even produce a paper airplane) but this heart came out perfect on the first try!

My daughter believes in fairies and we built a fairyland for the fairies to live. So She left them a note the last weekend she was with me. And I wanted to make this note special for her. Your video was great and did just that. She is going to be so excited! Thank you! Dad

EURGH FFS this is getting really annoying now i've been trying for ages to do this with A4 and it doesnt fucking work, why is everyone on these youtube videos using paper that isnt A4 to do this when its the paper that people write letters on!
update is that i managed to do it but when it came to folding the bottom section (below the square she folded into diamonds at the start) i had to fold twice and make sure it looked exactly the same width as hers. shes obviously using origami paper which is dumb because it clearly says "regular paper."

Personal preference, if you over fold the last corners then you can tuck them under previous folds to make the heart hold its own shape

and no this is not due to my own incompetence, when it comes to folding the paper into the pockets it does NOT reach with this method.
