    Morgan seems like she's a little shy around the machine. She'll be a pro in no time!

    Hi there, I was very tempted to comment on your previous vids. but you seem to have got the idea at last - angle blades = positive feed. Shame about that though 'cos it's a great bit of engineering, well impressed. One other thing - please keep your hands outta that funnel, it gave me the jitters. Stay safe fella.

    if you still have it please let me know if you would ever sell it, or make another. thanks

    Wondering if a "sloped chute" would be faster vs a 90 degree vertical chute ? Looks well made (like to see internal disk & blades though).

    Nice work, how did you make it internally? Add grass clippings to it, turn it one a week and you'll have compost in 4 months

    looks great! Have you considered power in-feed rollers?

    • @StevesProjects
      @StevesProjects  9 років тому +1

      CuriousEarthMan Powered rollers are too big of a change to make now. I need to make new knives that have a rake angle included into the design. They would have to be single sided but would really help with pulling material into the machine. If I were to make the chipper again now I'd make lots of changes. You live and learn.

    how many RPM? approx..

    • @StevesProjects
      @StevesProjects  9 років тому

      Lev Zh There are some details of the chipper at the end of the video. The disc runs at 2000rpm and the engine runs at 3000rpm. There are 3 reversible knives on the disc.

    • @levzh7463
      @levzh7463 9 років тому

      Sorry i've to see prev videos to see spec.
      What do think through you expirience about going up rpm to 3k (maybe 4k, or 4500 and more) on aprox 26-28 sentimetres disk for 2 blades. The goal is option to cut as small branches as possible to get smaller and more equal parts of the mulch.

    Идея оригинальная, аппарат сделан красиво и технично, но работает отвратительно. Чипы разномерные и это минус. Горловина подачи короткая и широкая и ЭТО опасно для оператора. Замечен выброс осколков и это тоже опасно.

    Nice machine. Goofy expressions. Not much help though.
