Every kitchen nightmares episode there's a lady who's in love with gordon, a stubborn owner and an idiot chef
excuse me, in love?

When an owner says the food is not the problem, you definitly know food is THE problem.
There was an episode where Gordon said the food was delicious and finish the plate.
Yet the restaurant shut down, even after the help of Gordon. (I believe it was because the restaurant was in a hidden place)
@@zorux6219 Well what people have to realise is that Gordon is a chef not magician, there are many resteraunts that close everyday even though they do a good job. Most of the restaurants would need Gordon to be there for a year to make a real difference and even then nothing is guaranteed. I think the most important thing he does by being there is giving the restaurant exposure, if they can manage to stay open until the episodes airs. With that kind of publicity there is almost certainly going to be a boost in revenue even if it is just for a little while.
The food is almost, always, at 80% of the time, the problem
@@CartoonWeasel In the show yes in reality not so much. If u have no clue how to run a buisnes u can have the best food in world and stil likely fail. Same can not be said the other way around. U can have mediocre food but if run the buisness correctly u have a way higher chance of success.,

I like how every time Ramsay found an obviously rotten ingredient, the owners always went, "We're not serving that. It's just my personal food that I, for some reason, keep inside my restaurant freezer for sixteen years instead of at home."
I thought the same 😂😂
"Okay, hear me out. That was for in case we go to a renaissance fair and need some rotten vegetables to throw at some guy in the stocks, alright? That's all it's for!"
Not the first episode I’ve heard that claim either!
As someone who’s worked in a busy restaurant… you shouldn’t even have a tiny bit of space in the walk in fridge for your personal food. That shit should be packed with alcohol and food, with produce being replaced when it goes bad. Maybe have frozen things defrosting for prep; nothing should be in there longer than a week or so (freezer is different).
If you can’t afford that, you can’t run a good restaurant. It really is a tough industry and the bosses cannot be lazy.
"I thought it's normal to have meat frozen for 5 months and serve to customers"
I swear in every one of these episodes, Gordon is a chef, interior designer, health inspector, HR rep, and family therapist. He needs a raise😂

Absolutely true. When anybody says It's authentic, like my mother/grandmother used to make" I want to ask if she was a world class chef or like so many peoples mother's are, a mediocre cook set in their ways. Authentic does not always equal good.
And being Italian is just not true as far as their cooking goes. I live close to Italy, and overcooked pasta is considered a mortal sin there. "Al Dente" isn't just a phrase. You can have Italian heritage all you want, if you overcook pasta you forfeit any claim to "authentic Italian food".
As the owner she should get the staff to keep track of stock and check it every day so that she knows what is needed and what she needs to buy less of . And the fact that she keeps blaming her son 💀like she isn’t the owner
Traci has got to be one of the most down-to-earth managers in KN, she knows her stuff and is just upfront. You can tell she loves the restaurant and the owners, but she's also up for some tough love if situation calls for it. Hope she's doing okay.

As an OWNER of all people, especially in the food industry and any similar industry where your stuff can directly affect the health of others, possibly even kill them, if your staff makes one little mistake, you should have at least a rough idea of best practice, what’s good or bad ingredients and so on and also be interested enough in the ongoings of your company to at the very least do a weekly inspection and review of if every guideline is being followed and what sells or doesn’t sell and so on…. I mean, it all comes down to food. Your restaurant can be absolutely shitty looking but if you serve good food, people will come. You might need to advertise a lot more but if your standard regarding food is high, people will come. I’ve traveled a lot over the years and I found that some broken looking restaurants are tastier than fine dining places so cooking is definitely the reason behind restaurant success

Or you just have enough money, so you don't care if you're going to fail... When you have enough, you paid your staff and just can close the doors .
Well usually those people we see here, are already over their head with dept, they aren't starting from scratch, and they need a hell of an accountant to keep everything safe after a change is successful.
Because you see all the money coming now in, but it's still not your own, because you have to pay your bills and return ex. the mortgage you took in order to finance "your dream". That's where people usually fail... Either they aren't committed enough or weren't ready for the changes in first place. But there's always the old one "just being lazy"
i can't stop laughing at 10:19, the guy just looks at the camera like "...help"
I love when these owners and chefs state these items were "Fresh today" then frozen same day yet you can see the frost build up that usually only occurs after 30+ days frozen. Idk how Gordon managed to not call these people out on their BS
Traci deserved a better place, what a fucking legend
haha what? she was completely full of shit and took no accountability. She doesn't even know the prices on the menu. Pathetic,
“Hair in the food”
GR: who said hair in the food? Come here!”
Rosario:”no.. I think she’s just talking to somebody”
🤷♀️🤣
Underrated moment 😂. I'm surprised Gordon didn't reply to Rosario's ridiculous comment
I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 17 years. Started as a bar back and worked my way up to director of operations. I can honestly say I have never hired anybody who went to “culinary school”. If an applicant comes in to interview as a cook the minute I see “culinary school” of hear those words interview is over. I would take somebody with no experience cooking over a culinary graduate any day of the week. The minute somebody goes to “culinary school” they automatically know everything and are instantaneously labeled by the school and themselves as a chef or even better “master chef”. Usually they can’t cook and are accompanied by a ridiculous amount of bad habits. Even if they can cook they’ve been taught everything but what working in a real restaurant in reality is. A newbie cook can be trained the way you need them to be and they don’t come with any bad habits and will only acquire them if you make it an option. The ego that comes out of culinary school is so backwards it makes me sick.
The strange thing about these guys is seeing their mom crying and they just stand there
Not any 😭
They're BOTH over it.
I would have such a roller-coaster of emotions if ramsay walked out there kitchen. Oh my god it's Gordon! Oh my God am I gonna die..
Not the owner denying being in denial 😭😭😭
The fact that she says they started the restaurant without any prior experience as if that's a point of pride and not a major red flag is hilarious
Chef: I did not overcook it
Gordon: This is so overcooked it’s crazy
Traci is cool as hell I love her. Doin' 50 Shades of Grey bingo and runnin' this flopping joint like a queen 👌
What is 50 shades of gray bingo? Do they like strip while playing Bingo? I never heard of it.
Yeah she's pretty cool.
@@shanalcordo7174 I imagine it's just regular bingo with like, 50 Shades of Grey trivia incorporated. Like I've played bingo games at bars where they ask a question, and if yu know the answer and you have it on your card, you get the bingo :)
I've heard a lot of Gordon Ramsay's insults but the "baby vomit" one truly takes the cake in this episode😭🤣😩
I love how Gordon immediately knew that the blonde lady who greeted him outside would talk, lol
They think buying something fresh and then putting it in the freezer means it’s still fresh lol
