    The guy who sold you the Tunisian Jersey was such a good soul. You guys were far from understanding each other, he doesn't get the Levantine dialect. The original price of 35DT was a very fair price, and he didn't get upset at all even getting it all down to 20DT which I am pretty he got low to non benefits from the sale. He expected you to come back and pay the remaining 5DT but he wasn't concerned if you didn't. He is a blessed person whom I can call my countryman proudly

      Tourists can make a huge difference in others' lives. When visiting another country, bring items for children (activity books/crayons) and things that will brighten up peoples' days like jewelry, items made in your country, chocolates, etc...
      If you don't tip in your country, that's your country. When you are in other countries, tips can make a large difference in their lives.
      Buy things even if you don't need them - leave them for others. I haggle on prices and then pay what they originally wanted and leave them a present as well.
      People need to make a living and when they're selling items, buy them!
      I have traveled a great deal and am sickened by others who can afford thousands for their vacations but pinch pennies at others' expense.
      Am going to Tunisia in a few weeks and will be more empathetic towards the people who I meet.

    Don't waste your time just in the capital souk you must go to some specific places like:
    -sidi bousaid
    -kasr el jam (tunisian coliseum)
    -the desert and different south regions
    -historical places (carthage, karaouane, jam, testour...)
    I highly recommend testour for historical monument
    You can find in the south a location where they filmed the star wors movie and I recommend spending a night in the desert and try the berber lifestyle and their food

      you are talking nonsense, the Tunisians are pure North African, the Phoenicians with Queen Elyssa fled the tyranny and the wars following ancient Lebanon, they were welcomed in Tunisia by the king of the time a Berber and they founded an empire the Punics are a mix between North Africans from Tunisia and Phoenicians from Lebanon the Lebanese are not our ancestors the greatest history of Lebanon is with the Carthaginians

    • @footballlegendary6894
      @footballlegendary6894 Рік тому +1

      not ancestors just the queen elyssa fleed from her brother and come to tunisia with her close followers and welcomed from the king of AFRICA (the name of old tunisia) and gave her a land as a gift after decades this place named carthage and after the carthaginian empire are begging with the north african people with a phonecian influence that mix of cultre make a great power the chartaginian empire is unique we have nothing with lebanese no contact in that time . the true phonecians in lebanon in all their history they don't make an empire like the great carthage that's proove there is no contact and allience with the phonecians our empire are much much greater we controle the mediterranian sea and we are the nightmare of rome. and i just correct u much love to the lebanese people

    • @footballlegendary6894
      @footballlegendary6894 Рік тому +2

      @@ZeFodao-qv5gy At that time, the Lebanese had their own civilization. They had nothing to do with Carthage. Only the Phoenicians, who came fleeing with the sister of the King of Phoenicia, were considered to be part of the Carthaginian civilization. They had great experience in shipbuilding and trade, and coexisted with the inhabitants of Africa (Tunisia). This mixture of cultures, after several years, produced a great civilization. It is called Carthage, an ancient Tunisian civilization that terrified Rome at that time. This is the point. At that time, Lebanon had another civilization and was not dominant in its region

    • @Sara-dv2nj
      @Sara-dv2nj Рік тому

      That's far from being the truth .
      We do share historical ties with Lebanon through Carthage. But genetically speaking ,there are almost 0 traces left by the Phoenicians on the Tunisian population. We're Mostly of Amazigh decent with influence from Arabs , southern European and sub-saharan African depending on the region .

      I think lebanese accent is a great choice when learning arabic.
