The cat loves bread and seems to have smelled the bread. If you give him a little bread he will eat it and go back to sleep. He seems hungry and it is not good to hit him or throw him. I have a cat at home and I know very well what he wants
The reason prices are in thousands is because until the 2000s the lowest unit of currency was the "millime" coin. That's why most food prices are based on millimes or "thousandths" of a Dinar and not cents. 500 for instance means 500 millimes or 50 centimes or cents (of which th concept does not exist in Tunisia). So there you go in case you were wondering.

You've lived such a local experience that I spotted some places I've never been to as a Tunisian ! The bowl of droo you wondered about is is simply Tunisian sorghum porridge, and it is produced locally ... the man added sugar because they cooked it without, and whatever added to the bowl depends on the client's taste. The vendor added sesame seeds, raisins, greenish coloured chamia which is a traditional Arabic sweet made from tahini, and then he asked whether to add dried ginger or not ... A lot of vendors add ground almonds or any other nuts ! Now, I have to admit that in Tunisia, we eat the best food in the whole world ! Very tasty fresh veggies, fish and food thanks to a South Mediterranean weather, plus a large portion of what we eat is locally produced ... Long live Tunisia ! My country is just exceptional …!

@@Rocks.d.xebec1 It looks incredible definitely next trip I promise 🙏🇹🇳
Too many nice places to visit and not enough time!!
The cat in Tunisia eats everything. Why didn't you give him a little food?😊😊

Welcome to tunisia mate u should be visit sousse and monastir and mahdia they very beautiful

That "huge" bread less 199 millimes wich is 0.199 tnd divide it by 3 and you will find how much it is in pound. The bread in tunisia is the cheaper than u think
It's fantastic aye

Saheb ettabaa!
I'm not the only Tunisian here
Im tunisian your wellcome any day
My village its Nabeul good place
Looks beautiful!
Tunisians use alot of languages in their dialect and especially french because tunisia was invaded by france and we still use the franc as a price unit (1000 franc = 1TND) in our casual life but our official currency is the Tunisian Dinar
Interesting dialect I like it
