Designers dream engineering and logistics nightmare lmao
haha exactly
may you please make iru bru thank you also if you could shoutout that would be great@@LateNightDesigner
while watching the pringles one all i could think was "oh man that would be a nightmare to produce and ship, and the idea of having it be a seperate sleeve is so impractical"
cool designs exist to make problems but 💫stylish💫
@@LateNightDesignertry cartoon famous brands. Like krabby patties, scooby snacks, etc
@@LateNightDesignercheck out Orangina glass bottles, they already have somewhat of a orange shape and texture.
The Fanta one really should be like an anniversary limited edition can for 12 months. They could become collectors items and sell for loads if still sealed in the future. I think it would be a fun marketing campaign tbh!
Bro i thought this had to be a large youtuber until i looked at the subscribers - you literally have the production quality of channels with millions of subs, criminally underrated
He has 2 videos but ok
@@DontLookAtMyDescyou can still have good production with only two videos
I was surprised about that too
That's also what I was thinking!
Right
the leaf can opener is really creative and looks nice!
The ideas are so cool!! I think to make the Pringle’s one more optimal, the main body of the Pringle man should be the actual chip can, instead of there being one inside of him. The head could be something you can screw on and off so after unscrewing the head you can just grab a chip without having to pull out the can first
also with the old pringles guy head design
this is a very underrated channel, you need more subscribers with this amazing skill
thanks! Will try to deliver more quality stuff soon
ary0o?? lol didn’t know I would find you here
@@LateNightDesignerTheres been a number of "redesigning products" channels that i've been seeing recently but your video and one other have stood out to me with the quality of the video and the amount of effort / creativity put in. It may not be much from some random guy on the internet but keep up the good work dude
Bro he started a month ago 💀
Bro he copied Daniel Krafft
I dont care if these are logistically impractical and costly to make, ship and store, its beautiful✨
These better packages unfortunately exist in an alternate reality, you don’t know because you don’t live there.
You live in his bedroom 💀💀
100th like and i know thats very very very stupid
This guy singlehandedly be fighting against the minimalistic company trend!
The packagings don't have anything to do with the minimalistic logos or "corporate art" or whatnot, they're built like that because it's easier, efficient, tried and true.
Let's not forget about all the extra waste these more complicated packagings (as cool as they are) would cause.
@@stefperb9531 no shit, I was making a joke, and u took it seriously, congrats ig lol
@@Carboy45 love it when people say dumb shit and claim it to be a joke only after someone tells them why it's dumb, and even if it was a joke from the start, it's not a good one at all
@@stefperb9531 Nah you're wrong. Yeah these designed aren't meant to be practical, but videos like these do fight against the monotonous corporatisation of everything. Screw companies that suck the flavour out of their logo designs. This video shows that literally just one person can give a brand more uniqueness and personality than the corporations running the brand themselves.
Don't get me wrong, brands shouldn't even exist, but the minimalistic-ification of everything is a sour symptom of a system that runs on consumption. It is happening because this system demands that everything be marketable to the largest population of consumers. Ronald Mcdonald wasn't in the logo, but he was pretty much wiped out of all marketing and brand design for the same reason that companies overly-simplify their logos. Fighting boring product designs is fighting the same thing that causes the gross logos we have today, so the original commenter was right
@@Dieaconus I mean Ig u may have a point, but I honestly was just making a joke based on the annoying truth that corps are oversimplifying everything, thought of that when I watched this video of a guy over detailing.
this could work as a reusable pringles stand/holder. you slide your can in and place the head on to keep the opened pringles fresh and not falling over
Fanta should actually do that. I’ve seen round cans before.
it looks like itd be hard to drink tho
Fanta already sels those
Do they?
@@polarplays2604straws exist💀💀💀
At least somethimes, I live in europe tho.
I think the title you were looking for is more astheticicly pleasing packaging, because for "better" packaging it needs to do more than look good.
Your princles can is going to cost a lot more to produce and a lot of them won't arrive the shops in one piece or the fanta can is uncomfortable to hold and less efficient during transport.
I mean you seem to be aware of these factors, like when you changed the leaf design, so I guess you'd know what a package has to be able to do.
pringles 100% but i actually think the fanta one could work. maybe not a tin can, but they already make round bottles like that, and they are perfectly fine to hold. maybe not as ergonomic as the standard can, but not so much that its purely impractical. for example- buzzballz chillers, or those apple juice bottles that sound like apples when you bite them. hell Coca-Cola even made sphere soda bottles themselves once
Fanta grenades are useful.
underrated channel, amazing videos dude!
I love that fanta design! And the Pringles guy was cute too
This is why packaging is so simple, designing and manufacturing stuff like this is masochism
well done, hope you get the recognition you deserve in the future
i actually love these? i’m studying graphics at school and we learn about packaging a lot - so this helped sm! i’m def sticking around
Okay, since you're asking for requests... Whatever, let's go balls to the wall.
- The product is hard candy that looks like little crystals, like Rupies from Zelda. The packaging looks like a geode or treasure chest.
- The product are gummies shaped like the Hieroglyphics. Go wild, make the packaging a sarcophagus or a tomb for all I care, the more creative the better
- The product is designed to be "Alien blood" or something. Like Mountain Dew or whatever. The bottle looks like some organic sci-fi pod, something weirdly organic and oversculpted.
I would either be excellent at making up ideas for candy.... Or I just want to eat things you cant eat.
Edit: Bonus idea, fuck it, we ballin. You've done fanta's orange, but you know what my favorite fruit is? Pineapple. A "Bottle" that looks like a pineapple. And yes, I know their shape would be a nightmare to stack with that giant leaf-explosion on top. But it will be a challenge so... Consider this an extra-credit thing XD
I'm really enjoying both your design aesthetic and your sense of humor! Looking forward to seeing what you do next!
I actually watched this video like if it was another well known design youtube channel.
Keep it going, it is great
I dont know how you dont have 1mil subs already, you deserve it! this videos was amazing!
models look amazing! and the concepts are pretty cool aswell!
Wow man! Super underrated channel! Keep up the great work. The quality of these videos are amazing!
3:45 so basically fanta in a buzzball
There had to have been so many hours, days even gone into this video and it’s this underrated? It feels criminal
The arms of the pringles guy probably wouldnt work very well on supermarket shelves but otherwise i really like these!
True, I love the pose the Pringles guy was given, too.
This is amazing job and I think, that not as usual package but a part of special limited version these things would be wonderful
love the leaf tab idea
DUDE!! I was so surprised when I saw your sub count, this is the kind of stuff I’d see from people with hundreds of thousands if not MILLIONS of subscribers dude!! Keep giving it your all, I can tell how much effort you put into this and that’s what gets you places :)
Youre content and editing style is amazing. I promise if you keep going at it you’ll blow up
This is fantastic, I'd love to see you do a packaging design for Lemonheads next.
Bro, your vids are really nice, you just got a new subscriber.
the Pringles design is awesome !!! Idk but the first thing I want to do if they would exist is collect them all xD !
Oh and funny enough about the idea for Fanta make me think of what Orangina did with their 25cl plastic bottle back then (I actually got one recently but cans are more commons tbh) with the round design and the orange texture ... Actually the 1L bottle still has the texture which is fun cause it's very recognisable ^^' .
The fanta design is really good, I like how it kinda matches the fanta bottle shape (at least here in the UK)
i appreciate that you acknowledged that having the leaf would make stacking impossible
bc all i could think while you were designing the pringles can is "that would be a shipping *nightmare*
like cool concept dont get me wrong, but theres a reason containers are so boring. it would cost easily twice if not more to ship your fancy pringles cans (not to mention production) so while the design is super cool it is like the opposite of practical lmao
love it non the less, and the leaf pull tab is such a clever idea
Love how the leaf pull tab looks, especially in the contrasting green, but I think it would be uncomfortable or even painful to open with that pointy tip.
Would love this to be a series!
I've been making stuff with soda tabs lately, would love those leaf ones!
Super underrated, DEFINITLEY subbing
The orange shaped Fanta looks epic but the problem is, it‘s hard to drink from it and it takes to much places for other Fantas.
Man, I long for the alternate reality where I switch the Pringles on my brothers so they don't get they flavor they're expecting.
Oh actually in some countries they have spherical cans! At least, partially spherical. But, the reason spherical cans are not chosen for general purpose use is because of three reasons: packing efficiency, awkwardness of drinking from them, and standing ability. Cubes have 100% packing efficiency - you can pack 100% of a space with cube shaped boxes, for example a 1x1x1 meter area could be filled perfectly and you could store 1 cubic meter of items with cubes - this drops to around 74% (or 0.74 cubic meters) of the volume for ideally packed spheres - IE you lose 25% of your valuable floorspace.
2) Spheres are difficult to drink out of.
3) They don't stand up well, easily fall over, and can cause large spills.
For this reason, another shape had to be found. The Engineer Guy has a great video on why cans are the very specific cylindrical shape that they are, because they use both the beneficial properties of cubes and spheres, go watch it! ^8^
quick and straight to the point
Very enjoyable, you’ve only begun but you’re very talented!
I'm surprised I didn't come across this channel earlier. Keep up the good work
Keep up the hard work, i can tell you'll be famous one day ❤
lol you just inspired me to try and do something similar, hope your channel grows!
For the pringle one, as the head is the cap of the packaging, there could be a special edition available only in france, where the pringles guy is dressed like Louis XVI
Your channel is very underrated. Love the videos so far
love the fanta concept, it looks like buzz balls but has a reason to look that way (unfortunately it probably couldn't be marketed for that exact reason-dont want parents thinking its alcoholic)
I genuinely hope Pringles hires you. I would buy that can.
How about a peanut butter jar/container that doesn't cause you to get peanut butter all over your hands when it gets low?
4:13 one thing is that the fanta shape looks like it would be mistaken for some alcoholic products that are in a ball form as well
the Fanta one is really nice. it even looks like something that wouldn't be too difficult to mass produce, almost as easily as a normal can
Btw if you grow to be like a really big Chanel I will be so happy for you and I will be happy to say that I was one of your first subscribers
This was great! I'm looking forward to the next video!
This is amazing you deserve more subscribers oh my god I’m gonna subscribe!
W underrated channel. I hope you grow big!
dude i love this video so much
I have no doubt you will reach your sub goal. You have such interesting ideas for your videos!
love that content keep it up bro
The Pringles one genuinely looks so cool, I would love to go to the store and buy that
Me too, I can kind of see it as a reusable limited edition sort of thing.
Damn this guys good, 10/10, remember me when u hit 10k!
The Pringle design is great 9.5/10. The ONLY thing I would change is that you add a top hat on his head. His head looks kinda empty, but anyways, great job
I absolutely love the Pringles can, but I wish the head simply screwed off instead of the entire sleeve separating from the body, it almost makes it look like you’re ripping out his spine LOLLL
I love ur channel!!
I thought this was a new video from that guy who photoshops packagings and also did Pringles. I like this. Thanks. Amusing.
Just under 6K subs? Wth? You deserve way more bro I just came from your Pokémon product video and it was so entertaining. Loved it keep it up👍
these feel like limited editions pacaging they'd release on their brand's 50th year celebration that collector will sell for 25k$ in 2045
this channed NEEDS more subscribers ur so underrated frfr
The round Fanta cans remind me of those round coke bottles! I love it!
Bro made a youtube channel and proceeded to drop the most high-effort, high-quality videos.
having 1.25k subs is a crime
edit:i meant 1.21k
Honestly I can imagine a Pringles nutcracker-style can holder for Christmas time, I feel like that’d sell quite well
Very nice, you are going to grow big soon!
THAT FANTA PACKAGING IS SO GOOD
I would love packaging like this. These could double as decorations when you finish (edit: the product).
Unfortunately mass producing these would probably be a nightmare
This is really good I love it
as someone who just got recommended this i do want to see your m&m's design
also subbed
very nice brdr, you are underrated
That Fanta can is hella creative!
already from the thumbnail, i love it
Looks great! Definitely subbing looking forward to more videos
Mr pringles needs his iconic hair even if it's not in the logo anymore. But honestly it would be a really cool 3d printable can holder
Put this guy in charge of everything…. Well give him breaks 😂😂😂
Ngl, I really love the content the Fanta can design looks wonderful. Here is an idea, Minecraft released a cereal and had an update. I know you might not even see this comment but why not? Could you make a packaging for Minecraft-inspired snacks? Like the cereal box redesign or something :))
Absolutely epic.
Wow, these are great.
thanks!
Who else would totally buy that pringles outfit, its so cute! And would love to have my favorite ones chedder and pizza
Wait I just reallized.. what would the pizza one look like if the jacket changes color?... the can is white ._.
That's really fun! I would love to see it for real as a special edition. By the way, there's a drink called Orangina which has a round-ish bottle!
Imagine they actually looked like this, I’ll probably collect Pringles cans tbh
Damn LND this is some high quality stuff
Nice content man, keep it up
The only reason something like the the first package cannot be implemented due to its complex shape if it’s simple its cheaper
love this so so much
wow i love it
underated 110%
For the Pringles, why not just keep the head attached to the inner cylinder but have an opening in the front of the inner cylinder? So pull the head up to slide it open, eat some chips, and slide it back down to reseal? Makes more sense than sliding up and then taking off the head.
The Pringles man being bald is still strange to me, but as the UK packaging is shifting that way. I am just going to have to get use to it.
fanta NEEDS to adopt that can
Dude combined fanta with a buzzball and thought people wouldn't notice
Can't wait to see all the m&m Easter eggs
