I have had a hard time finding any info about the blobs that happen when one starts a line (I find Pebeo especailly bad for blobs), so I'm very grateful for your guidance. Thank you for letting me know that it's not necessarily me. Rather, it is just something that happens. I'm eager to try the metal tips. My fingers area crossed hoping the blobs are minimal.
Thank you so much! I'm really glad that my videos help. As I know FINELINE Applicators are very good. I've learned about them after the video was published, that's why I didn't mention them. They have long fine nozzles, it helps not to leave blobs on silk. So not only the quality of resist matters, but applicators too.
Hi Your videos really helpful Myself is a fine artist my watercolors are very good but I have never done with Gutta although I have all the material ready but scared to start with gutta outline is there any way how to make DIY base for silk so colours don't spread without Gutta outline I want to know also how much is the shelf life of Gutta in a jar(pebeo one) 200 ml kindly reply I m from India Thanks
Hi, my best regards to India Thank you for your interest! 1) there's a spray stopping the dyes to spread, but I couldn't remember the name of it, I'll try to find out and than text you later 2) sometimes they are good for years
I think from your part of the world it's better seen which of them are good for you in terms of price, terms of delivery etc. But any of applicators shown in video could be used.
