Do you have a question about re-mortgaging? Are you thinking of borrowing additional funds to renovate or consolidate existing debt? Perhaps i can help?
Hi Michael. Do you find existing lender offers to be competitive at all? Or is it usual that FTB / new customer rates are always better? I’m on my first 2-year fix and wondering if I should expect monthly payments to go up if I remortgage with existing lender when the time comes. Thanks!
Am I getting this right? A product transfer is the same as remortgaging with the same lender? If so why two different names for it? And why does one method mean you don’t have to provide all your paperwork again and one does? I’m confused!
No. A product transfer is where you don’t change anything and just keep everything as it is (loan amount and term) and just take a new deal. Remortgage is if you want to borrow more or change term.
@@Progressfs ahh makes sense! Thank You! I own 2 properties and have never heard of a product transfer can you believe that?! Thanks for this video mate, as always keep up the great work as I love your lives and videos
Hiya. Do I have to go with a lender's desktop valuation for a remortgage OR can I insist on a physical valuation with someone coming to my home? I realised, only after I had taken my original mortgage last year, that my lender was VERY conservative in the valuation of my property. I did challenge them based on selling prices of same house on the dev't. Note: dev't is 5years. I don't want to encounter same during remortgage.

It’s difficult to say as so many variables involved
