Well, I'm a playground builder for 12 years now. Commercial, residential, custom, all of that. So I've never been busier. After being in each other's hair for so long, parents are desperate for their kids to have something to do, and preferably outside. So the residential side is BOOMING. So I have not stopped since late February, and I'm currently in a no-days-off until Christmas Day stretch. I'm taking all the precautions to protect my customers, myself, and my family at home. Keep up the good work and keep dropping knowledge bombs (and f-bombs)

Digging the new spot man. Crazy time right now. My wife gave birth to our son last month. So this is extra crazy for us right now. Matter fact the first case in here in new york was in OUR hospital the day she was giving birth. Scared the fuck out of us. We're staying home quarantined in our bubble. Definitely stocked up on as much ammo as possible. I can see people getting desperate and doing crazy shit. I saw it 6 yrs ago in my own town during hurricane Sandy. Stay safe boot guy. Btw. I tried to go on your website last night with no luck. Is it down.?

Hey boot guy, I’m a project superintendent and work in construction I’m a GC. Well holy shit this bs c19 has become such a huge pain in the ass!! So much paper work, so much extra precautions have to be taken. If it wasn’t stressful then(yes it was) holy crap is it now! With OSHA making random checks to see
If everyone is being compliant to the c19 regulations. Luckily the construction industry is still going, that I thank God for. Stay safe everyone.

Dude, droppin' the F bomb 2x in the first 5 minutes! We're building our Strawbale House in SE Arizona and this far off grid our lives have hardly changed at all. Except even here we had idiots hoarding TP. Hope you're doing well and love the new space and look! You draw lines like you use to hang sheetrock.

Doing well, feeling thankful that I'm still working. Trying to pay it forward by buying from the locally owned companies before hitting any bigger retail chains.

Working right on through the pandemic. Signal construction for the railroad. Keeping family safe. Playing poker and watching movies. Just ordered some Wolverine Bandits. Can't find one of your reviews on them. I love the Wolverine Tarmacs. Had a pair for 2 years and they are lightweight and very comfortable. Can't get them anymore at ORR catalog. Are the bandits good and comperable to the tarmacs? Thank you. Also can you do a 6inch wolverine bandit review ? Thanks for what you do. The vids are very helpful as some companies make us order online in order to get the half of price. Thanks again.

I've seen a lot of people concerned. I was, too. Seems the boot guy dropped off social media in 2020. I get it. He's alive and well, though. Found him on LinkedIn. I actually work in the same field as him. Kinda interesting.

I have a question way off topic but anyways I have a pair of boots I’ve been wearing for about a year and the sole is worn and I want to get them replaced, the only problem is, is the leather where the laces go are touching. They never did that before I always oil the boots when they need it. Will resoling the boots fix this or are the boots done for?

But, that's all you need to know about fit and comfort. Longevities of each pair is going to be based on the individual. Case and point, one of the formen on another crew I sometimes have lunch with has had the same pair of Thorogood 4200 for almost six years. They show wear but are still going strong. His partner went through three pairs in one year. So explain that. Two guys doing the same job working the same hours and one kills his boots and the other one. I find 60 days to be the sweet spot. The point a boot is either good or bad.

    • @memphisreines4058

@@TheBootGuyreviews one month is far from the sweet spot. You need to try harder at least 4 to five months to have a decent idea for durability.
