Thank you for your presentation, I found it helpful, although I feel obliged to point out a few mistakes: 1, it is the superior and inferior fascial layer of the urogenital diaphragm, where the inferior fascial layer is called perineal membrane 2, you completely omit the bulbar part of the urethra, and you incorrectly refer to it as penile urethra 3, the correct classification of urethral injuries is not deep and superficial, but anterior (penile and bulbar) and posterior (membraneous and prostatic) 4, I also think it is necessary to stress out that both scarpas and campers fascia of the abdominal wall merge at the level of the umbilicus, potentially setting another obstacle in cranial spread of urine leak BW
Dear doctor the superficial injury you showed is not in penile area but its called bulbar urethra which happens due to blut injury to perineum most commonly loose manhole, cycling and scooter injury...the deep injury is in membranous urethra -the part of urethra traversing urogenital diaphragm (and not prostatic urethra) which is most commonly associated with high velocity RTA and associated with fracture of one or more pubic rami.Rest area of extravastation you showed is correct.thank you.hope to see corrected video
You have explained it so beautifully sir! Was totally confused with the concept and searched it everywhere but only led to more mess.. You were of great help! Heartfelt gratitude to u !
Sir acc. to recent studies urogenital diaphragm doesnot exist instead the deep perineal pouch opens superiorly and is not limited by any superior fascial layer.
Crystal clear. This simplicity cannot be achieved by any book. Faak. You should do more. Congratz... Appreciations from 🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰
Thanks
Thanks for discussing rare topics that we can't find out in youtube.
