There is a mnemonic for branches of posterior division of internal iliac artery: Super GILLS Super G: Superior gluteal artery IL: Iliolumbar artery LS: Lateral sacral artery
How I wished I found this anatomy tutorial when I was still in Year 1 & 2 med school. So easy to understand and most importantly, I did not fall asleep. Thanks AnatomyZone! =D
+Jacqueline Jose Hi I'm second year medical student I'll be happy to hear useful advises from you- expert- that will improve my skills before it is too late wish the best luck
Hi there :) Im currently in final year, so not that expert. Still forgetting a lot of things. What I can advise is that learn anatomy based on its clinical significance, instead of cramping everything in anatomy book into your brain. If you are confused with what you read, feel free to check any video or google for any sources that can help you understand and remember better. Cheers and all the best to you. :)
Love the 3 D views. I went to school 25 years ago when they used the clear pages with different structures on each page in an attempt to give a 3 D view. This is 1,000 x better. Great work.
i just can NOT get the hang of anatomy textbooks i just dont understnad how people read those books. your videos help so much. May God bless you. i hope youre doing amazing
Wow, ridiculously good timing with my exam on pelvic cavity exam tomorrow! Thanks :D great revision tool as always, really enjoy your videos, thanks for making them! Incredibly helpful.
Superb audio visual artistic presentation.. wish such medical school teachings were available in the 70-80s... Reliving my UG anat days... New generation is lucky and therefore more eligible and capable of being well informed and 'know their stuff 'kind of medics....of course no substitute to efforts and curiosity , love for the subject of science to be essential.... Really envy the today's med-students for having such a real time knowledge giving gadgets... Excellent work dear Ali. 🎉
very nice video and description, animation added.. thank you for taking great effort.. a small suggestion- pl add on uterine artery too towards the end and relation btwn the same , (also vein) and ureter as animation .. I should say this is just wonderful. I'm suggesting this as Im a Gyn and onco loving guy , even many Gynaecologist and other clinicians are unaware and this clinical applied anatomy is always of great importance..and it would not take time and added effort to reach many more specialists needing.. also , note on drainage after ligation of the same.. hence.. thank you for all efforts..Shriraam Ayyar
Great but you really need to show the uterine artery and its course. We ligate this vessel often at its origin. Please re-do your video to include this.
Yes really missing the uterine artery is a rather significant omission.. reflects a problem with a lot of anatomy sources that seem to give less emphasis to half the population! Clinically it is the artery that really matters...
hello dr. kondrup, nice to note the same suggestion scrolling down .. yes this is definitely a great video but it needs some editing and addition to help Gyn guys more.. we are not crticising the effort, this is simply marvelous.. +hello- Shriraam Ayyar
I wish such good visual aids had been available when I was studying human anatomy. I envy modern medical students. However, even more instructive would be inclusion of the important surgical considerations of specific anatomic details.
Very interesting, thank you. Can you do the same video and explanations with a female model and focus on uterine artery and its cross with ureteres? Would be amazing!
i learned medicine from u thank u so much now i know the anatomy of human body from u i know phisology , embryology , biochemistry , introduction about genetic engineering without my going to college with new technology (internet) u can be what u want to be
Would be nice to see the video with female pelvic anatomy. Seems every anatomy video on UA-cam mentions a uterine artery, but does not show it, when that artery is so important to female pelvic surgery.
A little too fast paced. And in my opinion the software you used previously for your videos is easier to understand. Great explanation in this video all the same. Tnx
Lucy26687 From the app: tap on the video to see three vertical dots on the upper right corner. Tap on that, and you’ll see the option *captions*. Over there you can remove the subtitles.
Where anat = answer! Hence; you didn't, ever know it? It resembles, salt water fabricsz. OLFORS OPS Jeez, lumbar branch - matches spinal lumbar -- hmm pos arch(in this area!) Iliac -- is the, extended fx = dx.

THIS IS SOO HELPFUL WHAT. I USED i (ilio lumbar) love(lumbosacral) school(superior gluteal) BUT YOURS IS WAYY BETTTER YAYYY
Easily the best anatomy resource on UA-cam. Thanks so much.

Amazing. Thank you very much. Inclusion of details about uterine artery would be very beneficial
Agreed, would be very useful to have female pelvis model for uterine artery

Agree absolutely .
I am also a Gynec. Was more interested in the uterine
what a wonderful depiction

I second this, but its probably a big pain in the pelvis to recreate the whole video for one artery lol
