I stated with dumping síndrome after a colonoscopy was done a week ago,I had bariatric surgery three months ago but I regret to have done the colonoscopy cause two days later I started having pain in my my left side of my stomach I went to my primary doctor he said is dumping but I think is something else the pain is not going away I waiting for the bariatric surgeon to give me an appointment to see if he going to do the endoscopy because CT Scan is already done nothing found the pain is horrible is like if have broken rib
How soon after surgery is it safe to do an EGD? My brother is currently having this problem. He had a partial gastrectomy to remove a tumor, 2 weeks post op and a dye study shows nothing is going through so now they want to wait for about a week to do an EGD to diagnos the problem. I am just curious if 3 weeks is not too soon to do egd post op
