- Training for the most important part of the season, I joined three Continental level pro riders in a full race breakaway go until you blow effort for near on 200km - on an e-bike... just to even it out a little.

That was Mega. Man those boys shift and regardless a fantastic effort to film 90% of it. There was a real sense of speed and so good to see what a few pros can do on a bit of a training smash-fest. Thanks Lawrence.

Wonderful insight into what fast-paced riding is all about - really great effort! It also gave a real sense of speed with the footage, so yeah that camera is decent and very effective (as are your own skills at holding that thing). Nice one!

i think you are the only one who is not doing gravel rides and sticking to tarmac.
Really enjoyed it. I have the impression that Lawrence is a really solid rider but these guys annihilated him and he took it in an extremely gracious and honest manner. Obviously they are pros but the difference is incredible. No disrespect to these guys, but imagine the hammering they would get by the guys at the pointy end of Flanders today. Amazing.
A good lesson for a lot of the unfriendly amateurs around the Surrey lanes that never take the time to nod or acknowledge someone coming the other way. Never happens when I’m home in the Peak District. Doesn’t matter if it’s an old timer on a steel triple with mudguards and racks or pros from Ineos, Lotto and top women like Alice Barnes or the track team doing their endurance rides . They always have a nod or a smile. There’s always someone who can smash you up your favourite climb....

Absolutely, it’s unreal.
I know what the gap is but those boys have all stepped it up again this year and it’s a pleasure to ride with them. No close calls with the 360 stick, it sticks outwards not sideways so less of an issue.
Superb effort filming that, must have been rock hard to ride that fast and get some good footage!

Well done Lawrence.
Its a common misconception with ebikes. You still need to put the effort in especially at this pace. Considering the bike only sustains power / torque up to 15.5 mph the rest is pure power.
On the climbs it will help but on the pure flats your just lugging the extra weight.

No stops at all. Just gels for quick carbs.

Nope, we stopped once 20 mins in when I punctured. The lads didn’t stop after that till home.

However the speech volume is half that of the music that kicks in after. Still watched it but needed to adjust the volume repeatedly. Just my thoughts. Happy cycling.

It's not at half volume, its just on a couple of the clips filmed with the 360 cam the sound quality is lower, and I can't raise the volume or it'll blow out the quality.
