Not gonna be a very playable game if the tornados destroy half the town or map every time they come through and it’s not immersive breaking to see lines whipping back and forth in a tornado like they’re anchored to a concrete pillar embedded 36ft in the ground, but never actually snapping. It’s one of those can’t have it both ways situations. Either full immersion and it breaks your game because of the amount of destruction on the map, or you put up with some “gaminess”
This. I want to like case-tractors, but i can't since the first person displays look like jpg-screenshots from a ps2. There are some modders that make displays and whole operating-systems work. I only wish every tractor had that amount of detail. One can only wish for that day when you can play hud-less because all the information is available where it's supposed to be. i'm one of those players that plays 95% with the cabin-camera, as i am mostly a simulation-player... driving from third person just feels wierd to me.
One thing is for sure... I'll keep the option for tornado appearances disabled. I'd love to see proper hail heavy storms for example, but tornado is just over the top for me, plus the effect of it... besides affecting the crops on the filed and few trees, you really can't tell there was a tornado honestly 😅 They definitely should've focused on something else.
@@thumbwiz actual permanent ground deformation with tires all machines having feedback instead of perfectly plastic collisions. trees are a huge one to work on let em break when struck at 95 with a loaded semi. have them bend in the wind of a tornado. have them bend when being handled trees arent titanium rods

I'm just saying that the recources that's been put into the development of the twisters could've been invested into something more useful and connected to the game's core such as for example - implementing a soil compaction mechanic. That would go in hand with precision farming very well since soil compaction is a major factor in modern farming. Subsoilers would've finally gotten their poprpuse and tracked vehicles would've been more than just bigger, stronger and more expensive variants of their wheeled counterparts. That's all I'm saying here.

Fruit & nut orchards, many more tree species, water managment run offs ect. How about being able to dig ponds and farm fish species that would be pretty cool.
I was being 100% sarcastic when I said "Everything else is so polished", meaning this game is everything but polished. The direction of this game is very chaotic. They add stuff that doesn't make sense. It seems like the programmers just rush things without giving a crap how it works. Who ever the decision makers are, they aren't very good at their job.
I think the truck exhaust is displaying that the exhaust fumes are now affected by wind. Also, GIANTS could've just re-released FS22 with floppy eared piglets and I would've bought it.
Personally I think they should focus on farming with new machines, older style machines. More equipment more maps. Then wild weather not saying it's not nice to have I just think a farming game should focus on farming not trying to be a storm chasing game.

Hopefully the tornadoes don't show up more than every couple of years in-game. As common as they may seem from the news, it's quite uncommon for a single area to be hit more than once in any decade or two. Some places though can get them every few years, and an extremely rare consecutive years hits do occur. But those really are rare enough that they would be annoying in gameplay.
At 1:04, there is a lightning flash. During the guy running to the truck, just before the transition. At 1:30, the truck's cab shudders slightly. Maybe some dynamic fenders? Or just animated engine cover? It is a cabover after all. The ferry sign mentioned "big waves." The trees around the tornado did sway, not much, but some.
With the addition of natural disasters such as the tornado, I wonder if there will be an insurance system put in place that charges you a set price each month and will allow you to recover some or all of your losses in the event something does happen. That would be huge for realism.
It likely everything is yellow because they’re showing morning or dusk shots, which are known to be very yellow/golden times of day. Additionally the sky and air do turn a slight yellow during big storms, so to me everything looks ok and fairly realistic
To correct you on a few things with the tornado: the power-lines wouldn't be going crazy in those winds, or not at least waving all-over the place. Though what I'm not noticing are power-flashes as the tornado interacts with the power-lines. And you dont always get rain with your tornadoes. If you have rain with tornadoes, you need to be really keeping an eye out. If it looks like a solid wall of rain and you're under a tornado warning, that wall of rain IS the tornado. NGL though, I'mma be amazed if they strike in the evening into night-time and early AM hours, as they do in the Hoosier and Dixie Alley (yes more than just traditional tornado alley...Hoosier alley had this years Indian Lake tornado in Ohio, and Dixie is known for the Joplin, Silver Fork, and Tuscaloosa tornadoes). This does make me wonder how forecasting will be done because in my region, numerous farmers are trained to be weather-spotters through the National Weather Service. For example: will we get a sort-of "Day 3" outlook?
with out any doubt its a baby goat, looks nothing like a baby lamb . lived on a sheep farm for 17 yrs had pet goat, new born lambs usually have long tails that droop down its only after we dock it using a rubber band that lambs have the small tail plus as you stated even lambs are born with fluffy wool not short hair like goats, other than that FS 25 looking promising oh ps the little pink cute things are piglets ;)

Depending on the map, mods, internetconnection of the player and power of the pc/laptop, it does indeed can take a bit. And yes, i also find that annoying. I may have played a part in tornados being added, I know i mentioned it off and on many times throughout the years. I always want to see more weather effects and so many times I could just imagine a massive twister heading threw the fields. Well...imagine no more! Cool stuff and not to mention the rest of the graphics look extremely impressive, i love what I see. Can't wait!

I'm very much a sporadic FS player. But this looks exactly the same as the version I already have. And I play on UK modded maps. We don't have tornados here.
Im with guyjames, would rather hsve straps that actually work and smarter AI rather than tornados. When u set a worker off, they stop and say cant find location...Its the main road in the center of town! Killn me.
The electric poles at 9:00 are quite tough compared to the trees 😂. This new weather system looks really nice with water puddles and wet surfaces, the tornado is a big surprise. And that's a goat.
I didn't check all the other comments, but I live in Arkansas and the Peel Ferry is a real thing. It is in the north central part of Arkansas, right on the Missouri state line. It crosses Bull Shoals Lake. The sign has some similar wording to that of the game, but it's not identical. There are photos of it online.
The international big rig, is what i would call 1970s mabe 80s at the latest. There was a wide range of engine, transmissions, axils back then. The Detroit diesel 2 strokes where still quite common in the 70s But also Cummins and cat engines as well besides others. . Cab-overs are generally considered rare in north America.
I hope the tornadoes and any other extreme weather are togglable and if not then hopefully someone will make a mod disabling them. This is such a random thing to add into the game

I will get it when it is free on epic, just like 22. When they update the game to feel new rather than a few odds and ends updated, and mods added i may buy it again. But not until they put a lot more work into the new games rather than small updates every few years.
I ordered this the moment it was made available for pre order. I have just received a phone call from the store I pre-ordered it with and was told that the game has been withdrawn from sale by giants software. Not believing what I was told, I tried to order it through several other retailers and it either states it's been cancelled or completely removed from their web page. It was some crap about not enough preorders to warrant going ahead with the sale.. now this could be Australia only.
It looks good, but is it really a 'gameplay trailer'? Do you think they just started the game and then recorded the footage, or is it more likely that they did some gameplay and then fed it through a renderer to produce an output? If it really is 'gameplay' they should also release the specs of the machine they are running it on. The tornado will be fun for about a week, it will then be turned off as a pain.
