I’m always blown away by the impact compounding has on investment returns. Are you invested in any of these ETFs? I am! Let me know what you’d like to see in my next video 😊 Thank you so much for watching.
Great content and description. You're videos are improving all the time. I agree with one of your comments, "How to research and maybe even set up ETF accounts on investor platforms for beginners. keep up the great work 👏👏
Hi Thanks for the video. Could you, or have you done a video, on how to do research in all of these ETFs, or any Companies. I am now retired and have just started to invest in the market. Thanks for all your help.
Thank you so much for watching! That sounds like a great idea for a video Ken, I’ll be sure to make one. Wishing you all the very best with your retirement.
Its a good illustration of the power of compounding but a more reslistic strategy for younger investors would be regular investments say £200 per month over a time period it kind of takes the concern about timing away as anyone investing a lump sum todsy msy be concerned about the perceived over valuation of the top performers. Good presentation style though.
Problem with hindsight is that past performance does not mean these ETFs will do as well in next 5 or 10 years. Best is global low cost index and really only low fees and well diversified are in your hands to chose.
Yes, we are in agreement here. As mentioned in the video past performance is certainly not indicative of future performance, it’s just an interesting element that can be considered. I personally do hold a low cost all world ETF and would only have some of the investments featured in this video as satellite investments. You’re right, the low cost element is so important as it’s one of the only things we can control with investing! Have a great day.
AL world has to many duds in its holdings thats why it sits at the bottom of the pile over the past 5 years. I bet its probably at the bottom over the past 10 as well. It dosnt come close to technology performances its a tech world now hence the results 💰 🙂
Hi Rachel, these videos are so informative.. Have you, or are likely to do one covering Bonds? May be a good time to get into them for the less risky investor. Thanks again
Hi Rachel, can anyone tell me what the typical annual return on a world fund would be over the last 5 years excluding the “magnificent 7”. What is the true underlying return when you remove these huge performers? Many thanks.
I’m a new subscriber and your videos are very helpful. So thanks. With regards to the distribution ETFs , is the value you’ve quoted after 5 years inclusive of dividends or not.
@@creatingbalancefinance when you put a chart at the bottom of your video you show 1,3,5 year returns and also standard deviation, just wanted you to know how you come up with the standard deviation, thanks
Hi Rachel another excellent video. Following Vanguards ‘predictions’ for next 10 years could you do something similar for emerging markets and non USA etfs in the past 5 years that have performed well? Thanks so much.
I was going to post this same question. I am considering an S&P500 ETF plus a World ex USA fund so that I can move in and out of US stocks as the market moves. I’m quite sure the next 5 years won’t mirror the last 5 but then again I’m not mystic Meg either.
Hey Rachel! You should really make a video of this cultivated meat investment fund (Cult Food Science stock) 🌱🚀 I strongly believe it will be a 100X within 2-3 years! 📈💥

Hi Rachel, Would you say ticker IITU is still a good ETF to have ?
Great video, very relatable!

Super analyses and great video.

I currently hold 90% VWRL and 10% IITU and am doing good.
Sounds like a fantastic portfolio. Thanks for sharing.

I can't find the UBS ESG S&P 500 ticker S5SD on T212... Any ideas? 🧐
Hi !!🤗 I have seen your video very nice.❤
Thank you!
Where do you find the chart that’s displayed SD, thanks
Thanks so much! Which one? The graph with returns on £5000 or the spreadsheet? I put the spreadsheet together. Wishing you all the best.

It would be great to be the mystic Meg of the stock market! I’ll aim to get a video on this out in the next couple of weeks 👍😊 thank you both.
There aren’t any World xUS ETFs for UK investors. You’d could buy UK, Europe, Japan, and EM separately.
@@george6977 EXUS is new but couldn’t find any other.

If you want to get rich you will need to learn how to beat the market consistently. It is possible, but not easy.
Thanks so much for your comment Alex 👍
