I LOVED Back at the Barnyard as a kid. It was right up my alley after being introduced to the movie in elementary school. I am aware that there is a Barnyard video game, and I played it only recently (it's pretty good despite being a licensed game to promote the movie). I feel like the movie was a bit one-dimensional and it took a bit too long for the story to get to the important points. The TV show, on the other hand, is one-and-a-half-dimensional; a typical "XD random" show with a dialog kicker being carried by the welcoming variation of the cast's personalities. Pig is my favourite character only because he's the most powerful character for his self-awareness of being in a TV show that can communicate with both the physical world and animated world.
News flash. Peck is a rooster and Otis is a biologically inaccurate representation of a Holstein bull. I maybe a disabled city slicker on the outside but I am a farmer's boy on the inside and if it wasn't for the show and my liking for John Deere, I wouldn't be the farm loving guy I am today. It also explains why I am kind and friendly to every person and animal i meet and I am always ready to work, helping dad with chores around the house and hauling loads for dads mowing jobs with my little Johnny tractor. (that's my JD lt150 lawn tractor by the way.) And if
The whole udder thing was an inside joke. To be frank. Most people believe chocolate milk comes from brown cows. Udders on a bull is the least of my concern.
Back at the barnyard wasn't one of my top 10 favorite nicktoons (I'll give it a spot in my top 11-20), but I definitely feel like it ended too soon. Maybe at least 2 more seasons, so it could've had 4 seasons. I used to ship Otis and Abby. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl being a thing makes me wish Otis, Pig, Abby, and Bessy were in it. Abby and Bessy would beat on Otis throughout the series, we've seen Otis fight in the movie, and Pig would be a nice meme pick for the game. I think the reason Back at the Barnyard and a lot of other nicktoons aren't really talked about too much now is because they came out around the time a lot of people moved on from nickelodeon. It's too bad since it was a decent show. This show, El Tigre, The Mighty B, Catscratch, Tuff Puppy puppy, and The X's weren't all that bad.
The Same With T.U.F.F. Puppy and Penguins of Madagascar I mean Nickelodeon Shelved the Shows to Nicktoons to show the Final Episodes of the Series and than got cancelled after airing the final episode of Either Season 2 or Season 4
I watched this all the time as a kid, WHY DID I NOT KNOW BIGFOOT WAS AN ESTABLISHED CHARACTER??? I do not remember this. My memory of the show is good like I can remember several episodes clearly, what the fuck??
Back at the Barnyard is one of my favorite cartoons. I wish it was still on. I downloaded all the episodes. If they were all on DVD, I'd buy them. Yes, it's a dumb show, but that's part of its charm. It's a show about talking farm animals. It's not going to be serious.
2:27. Those are all essentially Silver Age (Herb Scannell) Nicktoons. It's missing All Grown Up though. 2006 is also the year Cyma Zarghami became president. I don't know why the air dates of the previous presidents last Nicktoon and the next one's first one always has to follow a gap year where no Nicktoons were released that year. Except recently when Zarghami resigned in June 2018 and Brian Robbins became president in October of 2018, and Rise of the TMNT premiered between those dates.
Both kid me and adult me knew that Back At The Barnyard is waaay more comedic than the movie it's based on.
the ultimate guilty pleasure anime

*This show really feels like Family Guy for kids.😂*
(And better than every modern Season of the show in the same time.kkkkk)
The show becoming more nuts and surreal was a way of getting back at the network for cancelling them.
UDDERrated classic for sure
BEGONE
I abuse my power and i learned nothing.
-Viewer Mail Pig Aka:Anime God.
You used a soundtrack from the old south park FPS N64 game that makes me so happy!!!!

If it wasn't for when I went to lions camp, I wouldn't have the love for Massey Ferguson that I do today.

Well Catscratch is a Really Great show for me despite having a Really "short life".
I love this Nicktoon.♥️

John DiMaggio in the show is definitely doing a bobcat Goldthwait impression and a pretty good one too
This show is a guilty pleasure of mine, but I think it's genuinely humorous.
I forgot how the news reporter sound like on this show now when I hear it, it sounds like bender from Futurama eat comedian Bobcat Goldthwait
I have an obsession with Barnyard, ask anyone I know.

I always just figured Farmer Buyer (that’s his canonical name) was giving his cows too many hormones.
15:28: I guess he was part pig all along.
Ah yes... Transphobia towards bovines, truly one of the most pressing issues of our time.

There used to be dvds of seasons 1 & 2 on Amazon, but they went out of print. I'm glad I got them when I could.
@@tvgamerstan6180 They're rare.
John DiMaggio makes the news reporter sound like bender eat Bobcat Goldthwait

I prefer Hillary Bufford to be voiced by the legendary Peter Cullen.
When you said Hilly was your favorite character that made me so happy, I was hoping you’d say him
John DiMaggio just gave him such a hilarious voice that sounds like bender eat comedian Bobcat Goldthwait.

You should listen to the time card's narrator for this show
You mean the same voice who voices Odis? Yeah, i hate him.
@EmployeeAMillion It’s “succumbed,” not “succame.”
Fghgii5ggh
Honestly i prefer Barnyard movie over the cartoon.
Barnyard shouldve stayed a movie i wouldve been good with a sequel
Show was s($# from start to finish
