Great job!
So i have 8gbps internet here in France, i have the Marvell AQtion 10gb network card that came with my motherboard, it's truly insane how fast the speeds are. I had a few issues with mine, so do a few other people with aqc controllers. They turn on energy efficient ethernet by default and it came cause some connection issues for people, if you have issues you turn that off and it solves all the issues.
The term you were looking for, the bracket was low-profile my friend
Yeah sometimes can't think
good one my is about 600-900 mbps between my 2 computers using my router looking this my router only 1x2.5 gb and 3 x1 gb and my computer got 2x 2.5 cards so my router that let me down any way make faster?????
Maybe include a test on a Linux box? Some of these cards are finicky on Linux.
You may be new to my channel, but in the 184 videos that I have, I have never once talked about Linux nor have I demonstrated anything on it. I only do anything with Windows
Not impressed at the price - You can get dual port copper (compared to SFP+) NICs with decent intel chipsets for slightly less than this costs, without all the bling that nobody will see anyway. SFP+ NICs can be even cheaper (and run cooler), but obviously you need the transceiver or DAC cable, but you gain the option of fiber. For a dual port card, LAG the two ports to your switch and bam, 20GbE!
That argument is meaningless, being that is not what people normally use. Also needing to change cables and a different switch etc... The price is fair.
