- A cross-country United Airlines flight was diverted Sunday because the Boeing jet had a cracked windshield, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
United Airlines Flight 1627 had been heading from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC, on Sunday when it made a sharp turn for an unexpected stop, as seen on its path tracked by Flight Aware.
It “landed safely at Denver International Airport in Colorado … after diverting due to a cracked windshield,” the FAA said.
United confirmed the diversion, telling The Post in a statement that it was due to a “maintenance issue.”

Yeah, so.. You might have engines failing, be locked in bathroom the entire flight, cracked windshields, or maybe vacuumed out of the plane when the side of the fuselage falls off... BUT, have they considered their DEI score!
My car had a cracked windshield. Can I sue the manufacturer? $$$$
My car had a flat, and putting the spare on was a major inconvenience. Who can I sue? Should I email congress?
You probably didn't loose thousands of dollars because of your flat tire either.
If you control a billion dollar company that is responsible for millions of lives in your car, than yes you can be investigated for unsafe and dangerous use.
Two days ago it happened again, with United 262, took off from Denver bound to Heathrow but it diverted to Chicago
Let’s be real here. United confirmed it was a maintainence issue, so don’t blame Boeing. After seeing United put Boeing on blast and their CEO traveling to Airbus’s Toulouse facility, it would not make sense to conclude that United was just covering for Boeing.
Passenger farts are the cause
Come on Democrat infested airlines stop submitting to the dark tires and start focusing on customer service and maintenance
Boeing just isn't what it's cracked up to be anymore.
Boeing again? No!
Yes, again and again...and again.
That’s what your mom tells me
@@bobby1970to be fair, this isn’t Boeing’s fault. Airbus has had their fair share of cracked windscreens too.
🤦🏻♂️
