According to one of the set designers, the included rat is supposed to be the same rat who runs across the dashboard in Avengers: Endgame
And according to the directors of Endgame, that rat is a metaphor for Mickey Mouse saving Marvel.

I haven’t seen anyone talk about this but in J.J. Jamison’s office he has 2 golden trophies which I think is a reference to the ps4 game. Where in just the facts he corrects someone saying he’s a two time Pulitzer Prize winner.

I would’ve liked Electro to be in it.
I think the backpack in the wall could just be a reference that Peter hides his backpack in webs after school, like we see in Homecoming.
The geode rock in JJJ's office might be another reference to his son. Colnel John Jameson became the Man-Wolf through a strange red crystal he found on the moon.
Fun fact: the set was originally gonna include human torch,spider woman,deadpool and the whole sinister six like rhino etc who didnt make it cause of marvel saying no and the mini fig limit.

@@cowicial5674 No, that is Ghost Spider/Spider-Gwen. Spider-Woman was a Hydra expirement and she has a red suit with an exposed mouth and a yellow triangle between her goggles.

I’m just disappointed they didn’t give us the figured to make the “me and the boys” meme in Lego form
I bought knock off figs to make that a while ago😅 I am excited to put all of them on the bugle
If they do Oscorp, the boys will probably be there.

A shame that Lego is so uncomfortable about Punisher. I would have loved to have gotten a smaller Battle Van set with him. Hopefully we can get more Daredevil figures though. Kingpin, Electra and Bullseye would all make for great minifigs.
I think a rhino bigwig is finally possible. They only need to make a new mold for the horn, then use the head and body pieces from thanos in the new wave.
As a major Spider-Man fan I thought I got all the references when I watched your review but I guess I missed a few! Excellent vid!🤟🏼
8:43 I think that minifig is more reminiscent of the now famous suit from Into The Spider-Verse in the "What's up danger" scene. In Into The Spider-Verse Miles is wearing shorts, his jacket is open, he's wearing a hood (Most of the time), which all resembles the figure. While in the game Miles has a backpack, he's wearing a hoodie that has a separate logo on top, and he's is not wearing a hood and not wearing shorts/pants. It's getting a bit annoying that people still think this is the bodega cat suit from the game when the only resemblance the figure has to it is that the hoodie is red even though in Into The Spider-Verse Miles wears a red hoodie under his blue/green jacket.

There’s another resemblance which is that the spider suit underneath has the V type shape so it’s really a mix between the movie and game suit

And I've noticed that Spider-Man suit is an inspiration to the classic one from the game when u look at the logo and the design.
Slight correction; the line "You're trash, Brock" was said by Emo Peter in Spider-man 3, not J.Jonah Jameson.

i dont think anyone has caught this but i think it’s possible. the bottle in the back of the 2nd floor could be a reference to jessica jones? she worked there at one point in the comics i believe

The trash bins may be a reference to the scene in Spider Man 2, when Peter throws out his suit
I find it neat that both Punisher and Daredevil's figures look extremely similar to how they looked in the Lego Marvel games (specifically, Lego Marvel 2 for Daredevil). There's obviously some differences (Daredevil's torso printing is more detailed and Punisher has different hair which, I'll be honest, doesn't look all that great on him) but they're still pretty similar.

Just wanna let you know that Ben Urich is a investigative journalist, but if you want to know why they most likely put him in this set is because he's actually a popular worker there in the Ultimate comics, Peter stole a disc with secret footage of Kingpin squishing a dude's head to death and left them at Ben's desk which allowed him to make the Kingpin a wanted criminal so he's a pretty big deal in those comics
He's a pretty major character in the Daredevil comics, most of all. Unfortunately, the minifig is rather poor in its likeness, neither looking like the white journalist from the comics, or the black journalist from the TV series...
In the jjj Office there are two golene rewards, this is a referente from the game because in the game jjj Say: i Wind the pulizie rewards two time

I think the Spider-Man unmasked newspaper could be a reference to the post credit in Spider-Man Far From Home when he was revealed as Peter Parker at the end.
I could be wrong but I think the rock in Jameson's office you were speculating to is Promethium X from the animated series in the 90s.

Since your doing videos on the daily bugle, if you have it, you should add scarlet spider and spider girl from the bridge showdown, Spider-Man noir from the venom mech set, and futuristic Spider-Man that came with the sandman figure and the spider vehicle.

I hope I can get this set when it comes out. If not then I may have to go one Ebay or brick link to get these figures. Also I do hope we get more mutants maybe a revamp Superheros X-Men lego sets in the future and black cat appears more often in spiderman sets.

I tried to look up who Ron Barney was but all I could find was he was the fictional credited author on this one fictional bugle newspaper about the silver surfer in this obscure comic, Marvel Vision 14 from 1997. If that’s not a deep cut, I don’t know what is.
I noticed that the daredevil and blade minifigures are very similar to their respective fortnite appearances
I think you missed one, the Spider-Man figure included is identical to the ps4 version
It's just a classic suit that the game is based on. They are identical, but it's identical to other outfits.
The Advanced suit is a 2019 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive.

Maybe if you were to do a classic sinister six you would need dr.octopus, electro,mysterio,sandman, vulture and kraven the hunter only problem is kraven the hunter figure is a very rare figure now and hard to get if you wanna get kraven the hunter you would have to buy the lego web warriors ultimate bridge battle set which today now cost like at least 300.00 dollars

The alien 👽 newspaper is a reference to the tinkerer
How so?
In the first book the tinkerer appeared he was working with a group of aliens and later someone mentioned that he had seen an alien spaceship (in the same story) that’s why I think it’s a reference to the tinkerer
@@AnkitMathewGeorge It could also possibly be a reference to Venom, since Eddie Brock mentioned he had to write for trashy magazines like that, when his Sin-Eater interview was proven to be a fake. The Tinkerer reference sounds a bit strained, since for some reason these 'particular' Marvel aliens were retconned unlike the hundreds of other alien species in the Marvel Universe...

Not to be that guy, but...The Clone Saga actually doesn't introduce The Jackal, his first appearance actually is the same as Punisher's first appearance, The Amazing Spider-Man #129, in which Jackal hires Punisher to kill Spider-Man by tricking him into believing Spidey was a villain.
From my research today, he may not have been Jackal. But the issue I mentioned was when he was first introduced and created the Spider-Man clone.

The rat in the set is the one that somehow got Scott Lang out of the Quantum Realm. Also, the fact that people know that they spelled Curt Connors name wrong, Just the facts and Norman Osborn run for mayor from the PS4 game, Including Punisher, Firestar, Daredevil, Felicia, Blade, an actual civie Pete.
These are my favorite parts from this set. Something other DC and Marvel sets should have done.
