I have been looking for somewhere to comment about the podcast and how much I enjoy it. I have been listening since the very first pod following the en mass departure from Autosport!! They eclipsed Autosport almost immediately and have never looked back - thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the sport I love.
You don't seem to understand that even if Norris wanted to do something like this to Verstappen, he couldn't as it would always be in Verstappen's favour if they crashed.
@professorzoom1497 that only applies to this year, as far as race craft goes that's how you win championships, by not backing down or crashing into your rival to show what time it is. That's how Max got his and senna etc.
They are major investors and co owners of McLaren F1 racing. The Bahrain Mumtalak Holding Company. They arguably saved McLaren from bankruptcy and their investment allowed McLaren to restructure and develop into a race winning team. Kudos to Zak Brawn for bringing them in at the right time. So yes they have every reason to be there ( unlike MBS who sticks his nose where he's not wanted)
@@alicekoppenol-pitti6257MBS literally hanging off Zak trying to be part of the celebration. And now he's going to make himself his own ethics committee. 😂 Shame on everyone who is going to inevitably vote for him.
Lando is my favourite child in the whole grid but Oscar is the one who has the potential to challenge Max, I am afraid. He can be as ruthless as Max but more composed. I think the orange team really has a problem, albeit a good one, for 2025. All drivers are really good, though if you think about the years of work they put behind the wheels.
Right now he is no match neither to Max or Lando. He couldn't pass Alonso on Aston Martin. He is great in clean air but in dirty he kill his tyres waaaay too fast. There is a lot for him to improve
@@inferno9103 yeah, statistically Piastri was worse than in his first year. I also think he still needs some time before he can be a title challenger or even a challenger for the no.1 in McLaren here the Qualifying stats for Pias first and second season: Qualifying 2023 Lando 15 - Osca 7; roughly 2:1 Qualifîng 2024 Lando 22 - Osca 3; roughly 7:1 Other statistics do look similar. He also improved in others it was like 2:1 in points in 2023 (roughly 50% of Landos points) this year it was a way better 5:4 (roughly 80% of Landos Points) Piastri advantage is he takes more risk than Lando, who was in McLaren when they were a bottom team (and in immense financial trouble) and it was always more important to finish a race and keep the car intact than risk to much. Lando still has that mindset, Osca never had to adapt to it. So Piastri takes chances when he sees them, Lando still overthinks some situations. In races Lando takes much better care of his tires although Pia improved too but is still far away from Landos level. That is why Lando is often able to have the best speed at the end of races, especially this year, even with older tires.
@@LetoxxIant I mean, another reason for Norris' mindset was that literally couldn't take any risks with Verstappen, because if they crashed, which is very possible he would always lose points to Max, even if they both scored 0. If Max wasn't 52 points ahead, then Norris would have been able to take more risks.
Lando drove flawlessly to clinch McLaren's WCC, let's focus on that instead of focusing on drivers making digs at each other over team radio.
Flawlessly? I think a rainy brazil has something to say about that.
He means in Abu Dhabi

"Nothing to see here, move along"- Russell and Verstappen penalty situations🙄🇬🇧
Looking forward to next year🤘🏻🏁
Seriously! Let’s hope for a proper multi team/driver fight!
I can see Bottas reserve for merc, Kimi not working out and Bottas jumping in mid season 🤣
Can we acknowledge that Piastri showed Norris how to deal with Max? And that he will have none of it come 2025?

Why are those two in the middle of the photo? They on the team or locals just photo bombing their team photo trying to feel important....? 🤔
Part owners I’m pretty sure

Simply Ferrari had a Double DNF and 2 races were Carlos had a DNF and 2 races Charles was pointless
