Love this fun side of our #HomeFree guys! They never cease to amaze with their amazing skills. Love Tim enjoying the Ham Sammich; Adam is just crazy good in this one, Rob's whistling and rapping (!); Austin's guitar and lip-sounds (don't know what to call it?!); and Chris' leads, and everyone's harmonies and layering, make it a great watch! Another great one to check out is their cover video of "9 to 5" - better yet, make it a double-reaction and follow that with their concert video of "9 to 5" with a beat-box battle/breakdown - they can all beatbox to some extent; both are fantastic and so much fun!!
I am glad that Tim started this song. Rob's rapping and Adam's beatboxing. Chris did a good job to. Austin high tenor. Home Free are funny. The harmonies are great. I like your reactions on Home Free. 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
"We have a sense of humour, I see". Oh boy, do they have a sense of humour. They have a ton of videos that are at least a bit silly, if not rightout hilarious. Thank God I'm A Country Boy, All About That Bass, Brother, Life Is A Highway (version of 2023), I Swear, Might As Well Be Me, Mississippi Squirrel Revival, Make You Feel My Love and Champagne Taste (On A Beer Budget) are but a few of those. Of the last one they have two versions, the first from 10 years ago, the second they released today. When you asked if Tim is spitting in Rob's face that's because he was beatboxing (to allow Rupp to do the record scratching sound) and its quite common to spit while beatboxing. It's why Rupp is ususally not standing right beside the other guys while performing. They got a bit tired of always being spit on. BTW the "throat singing" AKA the mouth harp in Man Of Constant Sorrow was actually done by Chance, not Rupp. Though, Rupp is generally who does most of the sound effects, vocal percussions and beatboxing, all of them can produce odd sounds and can beatbox to varying degrees. They've done some other medleys and mash-ups. The Country Fried Pop Medley (17 artists, 15 songs, one amazing mash-up), the Sea Shanty Medley and Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On are all amazing as well.
If you haven't you should check out some of the Adam Rupp's drum solo videos fans have taken live at homefree concerts. Also look up the live 9 to 5 beatboxing video were all five are beat boxing.
I'm not sure if I should be proud or embarrassed that I know all these songs. LoL. This one is so good. I love their " Country Fried Pop Medley " and their " Hunter Hayes Medley " also. Thanks for the Home Free reactions
In an interview Chris Rupp (black cowboy hat) said this was his pet project. His sister (Tristin) had worked with a modeling agency and that's where most of the women were from. Since they didn't want to objectify the women, the only 'butts' artheirs. The man in the one-shoulder overalls at the end is "Beugs" a friend of Rob Lundquist's (beard & glasses) who co-hosts on Rob's channel "The Avid Indoorsman".
Here is the first solo that most reactors see...it is from SEVERAL years ago....he is, of course, much better now as he keeps adding things....more recent videos he uses a looper to assist with layering the beat boxing, and he harmonizes with himself. ua-cam.com/video/EanKWLUaDpg/v-deo.html
You can go many directions from here! Yesterday, you saw them collaborate with Lee Greenwood. They've also teamed up with The Oak Ridge Boys ("Elvira" ua-cam.com/video/Wgm9gZs1hYw/v-deo.html ), Kenny Rogers ("Children, Go Where I Send Thee" ua-cam.com/video/o4qNaAlZ1xc/v-deo.html ), Don McLean ("American Pie" ua-cam.com/video/9RlTZdYXcKg/v-deo.html and "Vincent" ua-cam.com/video/IufSaUazsBg/v-deo.html ), and other well known performers.
@@TociReacts You said you wanted to focus on Adam Rupp's beatboxing (and assorted sound effects.) His most-viewed "drum solo" goes back several years. ua-cam.com/video/EanKWLUaDpg/v-deo.html This video is nothing but Adam! He was amazing then, and has continued to perfect and expand his repertoire. In all but a handful of HF's performances, he's the driving force that keeps the song moving and punctuates what the other 4 singers are doing. A perfect example is Adam's percussion in HF's high energy cover ua-cam.com/video/O_7IYbuRgWQ/v-deo.html of The Doobie Brothers' 1972 hit "Listen to the Music."
@@TociReacts Adam Rupp was an original member of the group. In a (very) recent line-up change, Adam Bastien rejoined the group (replacing high tenor Austin Brown), but you'll have to get the veteran Home Fries to explain the first half of Home Free's 23-year evolution.
They are very versatile and have several fun videos. Even the behind scene videos you can see they are like brothers together playing pranks etc. Fun guys.
Great reaction! This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level. Home Free was very respectful in this video about not exploiting or offending any women.
They don't sexualize women in any way and did you happen to notice Tim munching on that ham sandwich lol The guy in shorts is Beuggs He is a friend of Rob's and the guys Great reaction
Yup, but no one 'gets' the references to the original songs and videos anymore. I've watched some reactors get offended, because they weren't around when these songs hit it SO big, and don't know how in-your-face the original videos were. This is just a cheeky little parody. 😂
They shot three videos that day. If you look in the beginning Chris Rupp ( Cowboy hat) is standing directly behind Tim singing Honky Tonk Bedonkeydonk, then he's gone, then he's back. He left to get everyone lunch including the ham sandwich.😊
@@TociReactsTim is a bit of a foodie. He filmed several episodes where he goes back home to Texas with friends to eat at his favorite places, then Tennessee (current home) and they have one where they do a crawfish boil. Recommendation: if you want to hear how low he can go, try Brothers in Arms. It's kind of a heavy song, but with July 4 just a few days ago, it might be appropriate.
Butts Medley is hilarious and they blended it so well. Have to give it to the boys for this one. So good!

They all beat box in a live version of 9 to 5. The best box battle is pretty impressive.
I am so happy that Cherokee and I suggested going down the Home Free rabbit hole. 😁
