What I hated about this is that it didn't stop Aizen at all. If it couldn't kill him then at the very least it should've weakened him or handicapped him in some way. But Gin dies for free after spending 200+ years following Aizen.
Definitely would have been an interesting plot twist if Gin's attempt to kill Aizen actually succeeded. I kind of thought that win should have went to Gin, given that he willingly acted like the villain, for the better of Soul Society, and countless others.
1 mistake he did not act for the better of Sould Society he just doing for Rangiku.Remember the line Gin was saying;I will get back what was taken from you.Meaning Aizen developed his own Hogyoku (taking powers from other shinigami who had ability since birth bankai level and feeding it to his Hogyoku) before taking the one from Uruhara and combining both together. And in that process he took Rangikus powers and feed it to Hogyoku.
My main point about Gin doing what he did, being that had Gin been successful in killing Aizen with this attempt, he not only would have avenged Rangiku, but also would have succeeded in protecting Soul Society, Karakura Town, and countless other lives.
From a narrative perspective it would've been both brilliant and terrible. Plus gotta love a good 'bad guy was just playing the role' trope; (SPOILER FOR NARUTO) I'm looking at you Itachi.
Aizen said it himself that a battle between shinigami's is a battle of reiatsu. Hence why soi fon's Suzumebachi couldn't kill Aizen, he merely stop the ability with his reiatsu. The fact that Gin was able to deal to what it should've been a killing blow to a being who's in a higher plane of existence is a testament on how powerful Gin is.
actually, the only reason why Gin was able to nail Aizen with his bankai was because Aizen nerfed himself Reiatsu wise to be detected by everyone and also to the point where he wouldnt automatically disintegrate humans on contact from his presence just so he could toy with Ichigo's friends. By lowering his natural defenses and reiatsu this much was the opened the backdoor for Gin to "kill" him. Had Aizen not been still tethered to the Hogyoku, mans wouldve died right then and there.

As Urahara said, Aizen is pretty much immortal after fused with Hogyoku. Gin was closest to killing him of all Gotei 13. For him it never mattered how much more powerful is his opponent, he would find a way to beat him.
Let's not forget that Gin also stopped Ichigo from confronting Aizen while being afraid of him and was finally able to pass away in peace knowing that Ichigo had gained power and confidence to finally face Aizen.
Just like with Uchiha Itachi, Ichimaru Gin actually only did what he did for the sake of the world. It started as something for Rangiku, but slowly he realised that this man was a danger to everyone. Also just like Itachi, Gin would be the unsung hero who almost everyone thinks of as a traitor.
Lmao oh stf u, itachi made 0 sacrifices his parents and the village made sacrifices, itachi just gen.cided his people because he liked the village more, nothing else.
No matter the number of times i watch this part of the anime, i still love it as hell. Gin acted as a villain because of Rangiku. He even went into cutting in half Hiroyi (Manga) because he had to be the one to defeat Aizen (Or maybe she had no chance though). i wish Gin's plan was a full success... I wish he's survived... I wish Rangiku knew why he did all of these bad things... Waiting all of these years no, decades for an opportunity led to a failure of his. Aizen responding to Gin's betray was such cruel (Manga).
@@crappyaccount That's a possibility. But the question is, how Gin would look like ? I don't know anything about Hell (except from "Jigoku Hen") so, would he keep a human form ? Would he remember who he was ? But damn, Gin/Aizen part 2, I'm in !
What Gin did was honestly the most logical, calm, calculated and badass plan one could possibly come up with to take down a monstrosity like Aizen. He came closer to ending Aizen singlehandedly than anyone ever did apart from Dangai Ichigo. I'm not ashamed to admit it - Gin got me good. I never suspected him being Aizen's worst enemy all this time. I wouldn't wanna be in Aizen's place with enemies like Gin trying to take him down.
The interesting thing is that Gin's betrayal was only driven because of what Aizen did to Rangiku when they were younger, as explained by the series "Like a child that only wants to get back for what was done to them"
The craziest part is that, after the entire manga, Gin is still right. The only one who ever stood a chance at killing Aizen was him. It's just a tragedy that, at this point in time, it was already too late.
I love the allegory of when Shinji was 5th Squad’s Captain originally and kept Aizen close because he knew he couldn't be trusted, but was still caught off guard with what happened between them before the Vizards' Banishment to The World of the Living. . And that also happening here from Aizen knowing there was something off about Gin but didn't know what so kept him close. Also, there is a beautiful sense of Poetic Justice that Gin rips open a hole in Aizen's chest to remove the Hōgyoku.. When Aizen did that exact thing to Rukia before officially leaving Soul Society to go to Hueco Mundo earlier in the Series.
Gin lived long enough to see the power in Ichigo's eyes - and realized that his death was not in vain. Gin blew a hole in Aizen's chest; grabbed the; hogyoku; and started to fuse with the hogyoku when Aizen took it back!
Don’t know how you can look back on bleach and think gin should have lived, show should have ended, or aizen killed by gin. This ending is perfect for his character in the context of the bleach narrative. The only bad thing is how poorly portrayed gins motives were. If only we got more inside thoughts and his relationship with rangiku was explored more thoroughly.
@@karlbaptiste4 I actually wish I knew.. I could make it into a mp3. Cuz with gin talking in it.. Is also just adds especially when he says kill em and activates his bankai.. Ohhhhh.. I'll see if I can find it.
Gin had to wait a near lifetime for an opening to touch Aizen's sword, the only way to negate complete hypnosis, as Gin was always under its' affect. Sadly, this opening was likely intentional, as Aizen stated he kept Gin near himself because Aizen needed the fear of Gin's eventual betrayal to help surpass the boundaries Aizen was bound by as a Shinigami -- an that's what happens, Gin pushes Aizen to the next stage of his evolution.
Tells you a LOT about Gin. Man had the foresight to see what Aizen would become. Convinced and tricked Aizen of all people in to believing that he was a devoted ally. Got around his shikai AND effectively killed him all in one go. Wild.

Honestlyi don’t think ichigo was a boring character, I think because of other characters being so well written and developed, it kind of took the spot light from ichigo. Bleach was criminally underrated

@@knxfesck The TYBW arc wasn't planned. In fact Kubo wanted to end the story after this very arc. Hence why the Fullbringer arc feels like a filler, it wasn't planned and ended up kinda rushed out of nowhere.
In this one scene, Gin went from extremely hateable (in a "he's a bad guy" way) to hella respected.
誰よりも一途な素敵な男
No te entendí ni vergaa, no se inglés
As Urahara said, Aizen is pretty much immortal after fused with Hogyoku. Gin was closest to killing him of all Gotei 13. For him it never mattered how much more powerful is his opponent, he would find a way to beat him.
"You'll die with a hole in your heart, isn't that what you wanted?" Is a cold fucking line.
ギンはほんとにかっこいい。1番好き
The music with the flashbacks were beautiful.

Ölmüyor zaten Ruhlar ölmez
maybe theyll meet again in hell arc
@@crappyaccount That's a possibility. But the question is, how Gin would look like ? I don't know anything about Hell (except from "Jigoku Hen") so, would he keep a human form ? Would he remember who he was ? But damn, Gin/Aizen part 2, I'm in !
ギンの開眼イケメンすぎて惚れた(男)
What Gin did was honestly the most logical, calm, calculated and badass plan one could possibly come up with to take down a monstrosity like Aizen.
He came closer to ending Aizen singlehandedly than anyone ever did apart from Dangai Ichigo.
I'm not ashamed to admit it - Gin got me good. I never suspected him being Aizen's worst enemy all this time. I wouldn't wanna be in Aizen's place with enemies like Gin trying to take him down.
it broke my heart when gin got away and was panting hard cause he was so nervous. Man he worked so hard; it was sad af
超カッコイイ
The interesting thing is that Gin's betrayal was only driven because of what Aizen did to Rangiku when they were younger, as explained by the series "Like a child that only wants to get back for what was done to them"
His sacrifase shouldn't had been in vain. R.I.P. the best character in bleach.
It wasn't.
The craziest part is that, after the entire manga, Gin is still right. The only one who ever stood a chance at killing Aizen was him. It's just a tragedy that, at this point in time, it was already too late.
Yeahh gin, one of the best character in the anime universe, I so like it his power, personality and of course he so charismatic
Gin amd Itachi are one of a kind character. Seems evil but good in nature.
@@muhammadzaidan2932 yeah gin and itachi, they aura look like same that's make him so memorable

0:49 the cinematography is wayy ahead of its time
I love the allegory of when Shinji was 5th Squad’s Captain originally and kept Aizen close because he knew he couldn't be trusted, but was still caught off guard with what happened between them before the Vizards' Banishment to The World of the Living.
0:50 This is when you opened your mouth , just to say nothing.....

gin literally waiting his whole life for this moment and failed😭😂

he didn't.
*This* should have been the moment when the show Gin's eyes, right as he betrays Aizen.
Gin lived long enough to see the power in Ichigo's eyes - and realized that his death was not in vain.
Gin blew a hole in Aizen's chest; grabbed the; hogyoku; and started to fuse with the hogyoku when Aizen took it back!
Anten7 he never intended to fuse with it he was trying to keep it from Aizen
This moment changed my whole aspect about Gin a character I hated the most
So you mean you hate him still?
Rahmad Manurung No
Gin whole time : I should wait till aizen becomes immortal and accompany him in every possible evil deed.
1 word, Kamishininoyari.
The music change still gives me chills after years
such an insane moment..with the music and everything.
It wasn't really bad portrayed.
ここに至るまで一切隙無かったんだろうな
Aizen knew from the first moment he recruited Gin, that he will be backstabbing him one day
I love this fight and there’s hardly even a sword swinging
0:23 i think aizen actually know gin will betray him at this moment, but aizen wants to know how gin will kill him.
So what you sayin is “it is all part of Aizen-samas plan” 😂😂
The music that plays during this scene is some of the best music I've ever heard in my life.

So gin wasted 200 years following aizen and died without even killed aizen is one of the most painful thing
When I first got this part, I legit thought Aizen was done for, and figured Gin would be the new main villain. lol
The things we do for love.
マジでかっこいい…
Man the way Gin looks back at Aizen is so cool he was supposed to be creepy but it didn't work
You have cut a lot of scenes in between to avoid copyright, that takes the whole vibe of the fight.
I think he did a great job he highlighted exactly what we came to see
He did great job for this video...
*plot armour*: Yo Aizen! Sorry i came a little bit late but now im here!
Tells you a LOT about Gin. Man had the foresight to see what Aizen would become. Convinced and tricked Aizen of all people in to believing that he was a devoted ally. Got around his shikai AND effectively killed him all in one go.
Wild.
Damn I never noticed this but
Gin touched aizens zapakuto so that he wouldn't be under the effect of kyoka suigetsu and then gin immediately shoots him with his blade this mans a genius
Shinso: "God Spear"
Kamishininoyari: "God Killing Spear"
He really did live his life for this moment.
ギンちょーかっこいい〜
I would have been satisfied with that ending
Gin: “hey boss…remember that girl ya drained o’ reiatsu a while back?”
Aizen: hardly
Gin: I do.
Backstabbing someone at your back is backstabbingly wild
ほんとネーミングはいい
Everybody talking about how he was being a double agent. He wasnt, he was doing it for rangiku and only her. He betrayed soul society just for a chance to get back what they took from rangiku's soul
The reasons why I love Bleach so much:
-cool and interesting characters, relatable and matured
-minimal bullshit about nakama family or whatever
-raw power fights and awesome BGM (minimal talking or flashback whatever)
So those saying Ichigo is a boring character you can choke urself because at least he didn't say my power is determination lmao
Honestlyi don’t think ichigo was a boring character, I think because of other characters being so well written and developed, it kind of took the spot light from ichigo. Bleach was criminally underrated
I just rewatched the entire series and I definitely think Ichigo is far from boring. He always stood up even when he knows he can't win, he does his thing just because he has do to it. I think he's always been strong, not only physically and has a sense of duty I like a lot.
Still Aizen is a boring.
I enjoy the Arancar fights way more because they variate so much.
(sure i am a sucker for a raw power fight, like the Aizen finale but still.... not a great character.)
@@AndereundIch I agree he's kind of boring, but in the other hand, he truly believes he's the strongest by far, so his arrogance is justified and part of his personnality, but he definitely talks waaaay too much (that's why he got interrupted and facepalmed by ichigo lool)
