I’m telling you Shawn has morphed into one of the most incredible gentlemen on the planet. I remember the 1st podcast all the way through up to today.. What a transformation! I’m not taking anything away from Shawn’s efforts but I truly believe there’s Devine intervention. Shawn found the LOVE OF HIS LIFE and man did the inner strength rise to the top. I’ve never seen anyone completely transform themselves as quickly in my 60 years on earth. I’m actually grateful to have shared and watched this journey take place viewing it from the outside looking in. I wonder what lies ahead for you in the future? Pretty sure you detest politics as I do but WOW this country definitely needs the bearing you hold.

He used to be a little insecure when he was in front of the camera about his bad words and the way he talks. Turns out those are some of the reasons we were watching him; just a guy talking naturally to his audience. I see him a lot more relaxed in his persona now.

That's the first thing I taught anyone new to firearms before taking them out shooting, number one rule there whether your in the living room or at the range. Check the weapon, even if you watched someone check it 2 seconds before handing it to you.
But that finger on the trigger as he pulled back the slide right after picking it up made me cringe. He did remove his finger as he started to check clear, but still a bad habit. Shawn needs to get him onto some good training classes to help keep him fresh.

I've never been big into religion but I respect the fuck out of him. The way he talks about it is just different than alot of bible thumpers... some people I swear are just saying it to say it. In the interview he said he never does faith based movies because it's like they are just ticking off a box. Selling it as look at us were religious so watch our film.

I'm an atheist and even I enjoyed the passion of the christ movie. He's a really good actor.
A lot of people would say "wow" and almost everyone would say "thank you so much," but when Jim says it you can hear and appreciate the authenticity.

Yeah, he was good in this show. I was liking him as an actor, but now I know his moral values, I like it even more… and I’m not even a Christian, I just appreciate what Judeo-Christian brought to the modern world. That was one of my all-time favorite series. And definitely getting to know the type of man he is has even elevated him in my eyes.
I love that show. I feel they lost focus on his character in the second half of the show and the finale gives me very mixed feelings. But I still love the show.

I watched the movie on July 4th. I highly recommend everyone go see it.
Earlier this year, my 22 y/o daughter told me she wanted a pistol for self defense. Her church had self defense instructor come and talk to them, and that is what made her decide. I took her to shoot several guns to decide what she wanted. She liked the 365X but said it was too snappy. I bought a 365XL on her birthday, and I knew she would like it. She came home that weekend, shot it, and said that’s what I want and said thanks. I took my pistol back, handed her a Palmetto State gift card with enough money on it to buy one, and told her to buy her own gun. We went to PSA the next day, and she had to buy the display pistol. Very popular gun.
God Bless Tim Ballard, his associates and Operation Underground Railroad and all they are doing to save the children.

As a Catholic whose favorite show growing up was Person of Interest I have to say, few videos have ever put a bigger smile on my face than this. To to see Jim Caviezel and Shawn Ryan talk guns is just awesome.

Never met Jim Caviezel before but I did know and played HS hoops against just brother Tim. Tim at the time was the #1 Wa state recruit being a 6’7 point guard that could shoot from anywhere. Jim is such an amazing actor and takes on powerful roles.

We were the only team to beat them once in those 2 years. They had 2 D1 players with their shortest of starting 5 being 6’3. They were 6’3, 6’5, 6’7, 6’9, and 6’10.
Jim is the man! Starred in legit my favorite movie of all time 'The count of monte cristo"..and I'm an Italian American...so we're talking 'Rocky', 'The Godfather ', 'Goodfellas'. Damn good actor and very clearly an Amazing American Patriot!

There are no words describe how amazing you are Shawn. I've been with you since the beginning. Everything from the anxiety help video to the edc days to the training to old BUDS stories on the couch. I love you Shawn. It is so amazing watching you now. You are finally getting all the love and attention you deserve. You are now one of the biggest platforms and voices for our most important men and women. But most importantly you are father figure and role model us young men can look up to. I am 23 and I have been through hell. I wanted to be a Navy Seal until about a year ago I decided I'd rather be in a peace. A warrior in a garden. I then found God and faith a few months ago. I struggled just like you with spiritual warfare. You took the words right out of my head during your testimony. St. Michael is on our side. I am no longer afraid of mine or other's Demons. And to top it all off I have made it through hell and able to see Shawn Ryan interview one of greatest men on this planet. Fucking Jesus 😭🙌!!! Lol. 😂 no seriously thank you for making this happen I just watched Sound of Freedom the other day and then watched your interview with Jim right after and it was the best 4th of July I've had in a long damn time. Big fan of the 43 as well. Which is why upgrading to the CR920 when it dropped last year was a no-brainer for me. 🤜🤛 Glad sig is giving you so many goodies to give away. Just not my cup of tea after dealing with too many 320 issues in training. To each their own, so long as you're carrying and training with whatever fits you the best.
Sig is seriously overrated. They're all snappy and don't have the track record of Glock

As much as I like JC, that was not exactly “exercising gun safety the whole time”.He immediately put his finger on the trigger, before and then while racking/clearing the chamber, not to mention pointing the muzzle (momentarily) directly at Shawn.

I just saw that all showings of the sound of freedom are sold out even though some movie theaters are adding up to six showings. Awesome job getting this word out! I wholeheartedly believe you played a big part in that.

The old man taught me you always carry six things no matter where you go; your wallet, your gun, an extra mag, a pocket flashlight, and an old fishing knife, and an absolutely mandatory bottle opener. I have never deviated from that and I’ve never been up shit creek without my paddle.
