Immuno-moodulin seems like a much safer and researched therapy to yet make advances. Deep brain stimulation, ketamine and glutamate modulation have no science behind it and no studies of long term side effects. We should be focused on Pandas/Pans and how our immune system can impact the brain.

TMS and Neurofeedback did nothing for my OCD, literally nothing. The Dr now says he has a better TMS for OCD and the one I had was for anxiety but I don’t buy it. Maybe I’m beyond treatable from those and they can could help someone else, but?

Hey Renak I hope things maybe better for you now. Can I ask where did you go for the rMTS and Neurofeedback ? As this is something I am considering along with ketamine and ERP

@@_sugz Hi! I did the neuorofeedback in NYC and also the TMS at a different time. I’m actually doing Ketamine this week! ERP is good too depending but it takes a lot to keep that impactful and I don’t necessarily think it works as they think it does. Dr Greenberg has a different method towards OCD that seems to make better sense, look him up, Best to you as well…

I will do thanks , it’s difficult isn’t it! I really just want to be done with this now and get back to some sort of life. I really hope next week goes well for you. I’ve read good things! There is an good article by Stanford Med but YT won’t allow me to link it 🤦

Oh, no I will always prefer meditation or yoga, rather than sticking something in my brain.

I’ve had DBS for severe, treatment-refractory OCD and it works amazingly. Yoga and meditation may be helpful for mild to moderate OCD but severe OCD is a different animal and needs something far more drastic.
