Great to hear you got excellent exceptional service from Discount Tire, I ordered a set of General G-MAX RS tires from Discount Tire Direct for my BMW 335i and I’m scheduled to for installation at my local Discount Tire.
They're amazing, always great experience with their customer service over the phone. They honor their mileage warranty even I moved to a new state with no their chain stores around. They would give you credits when purchasing new tires from them and ship to your place at no cost.
I had the same experience with Jim Click Jeep in Tucson. I asked them for a 5 wheel rotation, they said they would do it. Since I have a Gladiator I couldn’t see the spare very well. When I took it down soon after, it had never been run. I guess they just did a four wheel rotation, maybe. Who knows if they did anything.

That’s why I rather pay a little more to go discount or America’s tire here in California instead of some mom and pop shop, plus!! They torque my lug nut! I was shock! Because every time when someone touch my wheel I always went home and check the torque, they all set at 80ft lb! Even said on the invoice they gave me!
Prolly thousands of folks with similar heartwarming stories about DT doing somebody a solid. My most recent had me show up on their busy day with an unfixable. GAVE me a used tire and mounted it, but couldn't get me in a stall for a couple days. Put another 20K miles on it!
something you need to know, if you have to take your jeep in for warranty work at jeep dealership they may tell you that warranty is voided if you have lifted your jeep or done other mods to it.
My experience with Discount Tire felt like a bait and switch. I just went in there to have them check the air pressure in my almost new tires. The attendant messed around with one of the tires for a little bit and I'm thinking, what is this guy doing? He says he will be right back and went and spoke with someone and came back a minute later. He tells me that he can't fill up my tires because one is too low, huh? He tells me to pull into a spot and they will set me up with an appointment. No thanks I told him. Felt like they were messing with me just to try and sell me some tires. Thumbs down to Discount Tire.
Air hoses in the air check bay won’t air up a tire when the psi is too low because that means something is most likely wrong with the tire. He was going to get you into a bay and take the wheel off and have the tire inspected and if a leak was found it would be patched for free as long as it was in a repairable area.

I’ve always loved discount tire, and I agree with you that now a days customer service trumps all. I too will most likely be utilizing discount for my next tire purchase. Great video, I laughed, only once though.
Today I had a brand new set of tires installed. I went out to the bay to check if I need to replace the brake pads and noticed a huge puddle coming out the bay door. The employee had miscalculated the width of my car and knocked the fuel line off the fuel filter. I brought it to the employee's attention and he apologized. I went and immediately spoke with the manager. I was assured that the problem had been corrected. I didn't even get a mile down the road when it stalled out. It took me 45 minutes to repair the careless employee's mistake and a quarter tank of gas leaked out. I notified the store manager and they didn't even offer to reimburse me for the gas wasted due to the carelessness of the employee
its a little late but i am a service tech from the discount tire you visited i dont know if i was on the clock that day but i am glad to hear the praise and trust you have put in our store and our company im going to show this to ma good pal mike(the one that guided your wrangler out)and and eddie one of our very experienced sales techs and also my whole crew they will love this shout out
I hear horror stories from other offroad enthusiasts... personally... the only issue I have is the aggressive selling of warranties... and not sending out my rebates in time.
Discount Tire sold me a new set of rims and tires for a W8 VW passat. I drove them for 6 months until I had to replace my front brake pads. Once I replaced my pads, the wheels would not fit because the calipers stuck out too far. I put my original wheels back on and threw the new wheels and tires in the back. Once at Discount, they refused to take the wheels and tires back. They said must have put on after market pads. I bought my pads straight from my local VW Dealer. They showed me the computer that said the wheels fit. I saw a special note that said W8 may have clearance problems. The only thing they would do is offer a discount on tires. They screwed me over on a whole set of wheels and tires. Total jerks.

they can only void the warranty on the system that was modified if its determined the mods caused the problem.

I have been in their stores. Non of their lifts even get close to touching the fuel lines.

Love Discount Tire! I won't take my Jeep to the stealership for anything but warranty.
I MUCH prefer sand to rock or even mud.....super soft, admittedly ya gotta prepare yourself for sand falling out of cracks for YEARS to come.
I haven't even attempted to clean the sand out of the Jeep yet. It is more forgiving .
