- My friend bought a new A-Sure Android Radio for his B-Class. First it looked great but it turns out to be only mediocre at best. Maybe shop for a different model.

Quick instructions how to remove the radio on B-Class W245:
1. Move the two hooks inside the vents torwards the inside, then pull the vent assembly out (and unhook the hazard lights button)
2. Unclip the bezel underneath the radio (and take more care than I did!)
3. Unscrew the radio and take it out
4. Cables can all be unplugged now
Reassembly in reverse order

You're welcome. Try to avoid this on in particular, there are surely good alternatives out there. Maybe also with some buttons and not only touch.

Hi just seen your vid a good lesson of fails that can happen and to let you know you are not on your own, I bought a Chinese head unit tried to install on my e class and ended up taking the damn thing out and re installed my original head unit. So a shout out to you guys out there thinking of buying one have a look on UA-cam to ensure you can install what you are buying😢
Thanks, that's why I made this video for. It's a bit Russian roulette with these Chinese headunits. In my E-Class I have one which works very well (all the controls, integration of car, no crashes), while on this B-Class nothing worked. It's pretty hard to tell them apart in the online listings too. So I guess it's sometimes you win, sometimes you loose haha
I have the same problem with the headunit not powering on but where dit u put the little connector into?
I forgot to plug it in to the power, it is a little plug which only fits the one socket and that supplies power to the head unit. Stupid simple mistake.

Completed a similar install (using an ATOTO head unit) works well!

I don't know, sorry. In my case it was only the power connector.
You gotta select OD for the CanBus to work. It's that easy. Also for the antenna, put the antenna power on. This will give the antenna amplifier in that little housing on the roof of your car (where the antenna sticks out) the power it needs to work.
If the antenna setting (antenna turn on) doesn't work you might have to buy a specific cable... If you are still interested in this thing I can help you out. I spent so much time fitting one of these in my B and finally figured it all out. Radio FM works great, canbus and steering wheel controls are good, carplay great, boot up time wonderful.

Bei 0:33 wenn du ganz rechts schaust, der kleine Stecker mit den 2 pins musste verbunden werden. Das war's

@@whr_vlogs habe noch Frage😅. Welche Adapter hast du für die radio Antenne benutzt damit es funktioniert? Habe auf die gelbe stecker wie bei dir angeschlossen aber die Radio läuft nicht. Habe noch dann die Blaue oder die weiße doppelt Stecker frei.
