She is a full on pro, under contract endorsement with Pearl drums(HQ in Japan), Sabian(cymbals) and Remo(drum heads) and possibly others. She has been in a band, but now is freelance, playing shows in Tokyo and a couple other places over the last couple years. She basically owns and dominates the stage making it pretty difficult to be in a band. She is probably too alpha and too dominating for almost any band I can think of.
SHe's fitting in pretty well with the (sadly rare) full band appearances of Mada Mitakoto No Nai Sekai (ex-Bridear shredder Mitsuru's project). Lots of alphas in that project (Junna and Mitsurun, plus Wakazaemon on bass!). Absolutely warpspeed stuff...it fits her style.

She must really intimadate guys who have been playing for decades. People in bands are arrogant and don't take to kindly when they get shown how to play from a young person. Add to that, she is a girl, and it has to be humbling to hear her. Especially when they think THEY are the best player in the world! Seriously I can't stop listening to her play. Not even my type of music, and I have been converted after hearing her. Crazy talent and 100% natural ability. I read she could play that hard after her first 12 months of playing.
