I would do the door the same color as the wall. It is looking beautiful!

I'd do the kitchen door a distressed (kinda whitewashed but with that copper color instead of white) on top of a light turquoise. A messy rustic look.

I’m not sure if a glass cooktop is different from a glass top slide in stove. But my glass top slide in stove/oven/range, is okay for canning. The owners manual for my glass top stove says you can, can on it, it just has a weight limit of 50 pounds. So I usually bring out my bathroom scale to weigh my water bath canner, loaded up with water and full jars before I put it on, and adjust accordingly.
Pressure canning works just fine. I can double stack even and it don’t reach the weight limit. I have a 23 quart pressure canner. I think it’s a presto.
You might could google the brand of your cooktop and find out from the manufacturer. That way you don’t feel like you gotta replace it immediately. Just a thought!
The fresh paint looks great! It’s pretty cool how some paint and hard work can just completely transform a space!

Thanks! I’ll be sure and check… I know I’ve always heard it’s not good to can on them, but the newer ones may be better for it.

I am the worst at picking colors and painting. I'm sure it's going to be great when y'all get done.

I think rust for the door, turquoise is my favorite color, but I think it would be too bright for the colors in that kitchen
