After rescuing the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt, the LORD led them into the wilderness. Their faithlessness would cause them to wander there for 40 years. Even today, we all have our own wilderness to wander through, but just as He did with the Israelites, the LORD will lead us out.

Matt 12:43 is all I can think of when seeing that beautiful yet de - adly desert. Obviously the desert represented sin. I know it took 40 yrs to finally get delivered bc of sin, but I don’t know how long it should have taken. Technically; physically I mean. I realize spiritually it should have never happened. Does anyone know?

Another beautiful video. There are multiple reasons to believe why the areas around Mt. Sinai was not barren during the Exodus. One being that we know Moses had taken the flocks of Jethro to graze there. In Exodus 34:3 it states, "And no man shall come up with you, and let no man been seen throughout all the mountain; let neither flocks nor herds feed before that mountain." That tells us that there would have been grazing land there. Israel would have needed much wood for the sacrifices and fires to cook. Just food for thought. TY.
A lot of things can change over thousands of years to be sure! Thankfully, God’s love and provision never does!
