We know that there are compelling reasons for a few different sites for Mt. Sinai, the exact crossing of the Red Sea, and other locations pertaining to the Exodus. This debate has been raging for centuries and likely will continue to do so, because despite what many will say - no one knows for sure. Identifying these specific sites is not the goal of our documentary series, but rather to highlight the biblical historical account of the Exodus and what it means to each of us today. @@appianmedia No doubt, but I feel like we're beating around the bush on this issue and that we can argue pretty strongly in favor of things like Jabal al-Lawz as the actual Mount Sinai and Nuweiba as the actual crossing site. It certainly would have been a far better focus regardless, than this far less interesting or compelling Jabal Musa, and it just doesn't sit right to still be calling Jabal Musa for "Mount Sinai" and I don't think we should be entertaining that anymore. Still looking forward to your documentary!

In Saudi Arabia Yes was The Mt. Sinai but those are the places where Israelites were meandering towards CANAAN. God was interested in mountains, valleys, hills, rivers, and any other thing but Israelites as A nation.

You certainly are at odds with the Word of God as to the location of Mt. Sinai: Galatians 4:24 These things serve as illustrations, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children into slavery: This is Hagar. 25Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present-day Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. 26But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.…
We appreciate your concern for biblical accuracy, as do we. Arabia during the 1st century would have encompassed a much larger area of the map, including portions of the Sinai Peninsula and even Egypt, and could have described most of the numerous suggestions for the location of Mt. Sinai. We know that there are compelling reasons for a few different sites for Mt. Sinai, the exact crossing of the Red Sea, and other locations pertaining to the Exodus. The specific location for the mountain is still debated, so it’s impossible to know for sure where that golden calf altar would have been, but there were several places as we traveled up to the summit where it could have occurred.
@@appianmedia I appreciate your hard work and especially how you present the gospel in a relatable way for the younger audience. God bless you all and what you are doing for God's Kingdom!

Small mountain, are we sure that's a mountain? It's only 7,497ft compared to mount Everest 29,032ft even Pikes peak is 14,115 ft. Is there a snow cap on mount Sinai, you don't look dressed for cold weather? I didn't notice any mountain climbing equipment, tools you would need to climb a real mountain. Are we sure it wasn't the mound of Sinai instead of mount? Lost in translation is a real thing the Bible knows all to well.
Exciting! Enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love that, "It really hits home when you have the dust on YOUR feet."
Right?! It does really help out things in perspective!
I think you guys went to the wrong "Mount Sinai". You ever heard of Jabal al-Lawz in Saudi Arabia?
